OK, fun happy dude, "Stop giving them weapons and cash". Stop giving weapons and cash to the Allah-Akhbar crazies?

OMG these reporters aren't giving up! BRILLIANT!

This "coup de tat" business is REALLY front and center now!

This man said that there are certain legal distinctions regarding whether or not it's a coup de tat (while he has no balls to admit it, he's referring to one thing only, the permissibility of continued weapon support.

So the higher ups who can't get on the podium for themselves have, get this "determined not to make that determination!"

    LMAO

Obama just makes me long for Bush back! At least Bush could get his ass behind a podium.

UK foreign secretary William Hague and Prime Minister David Cameron both offered their sound bites.

Yesterday the news were saying that the more liberal were trying to hold them back from this and wanted it sorted in a more democratic way. Guess they lost.

Egypt health ministry say 95 dead and 874 injured

So, why did they hate us before the U.S. even had a presence in the region, Goldie? Why were they attacking American ships and enslaving their crews and passengers?

It would seem for the same reasons they have hated each other for thousands of years.

Because Allah says so....but, he actually says something else to someone else, and they kill each other because of it.....Idiots.

At least Christians no longer murder each other....usually.

I can't see this being over in one day. News is coming in now of a make shift hospital being stormed - that is not confirmed but reputable Rights workers in Egypt are saying no safe passage is being allowed for people in make shift hospitals to proper medical care.

Now the health Minister says the number dead is 140 still giving nearly 900 injured but the thinking is many more dead and injured.

When they have had enough slaughter I cannot imagine Egypt is not going to suffer from the Al Qaeda types engaging in terrorism for some time and probably having got a lot more members from frustrated brotherhood members.

Churches apparently are also being attacked. All hell has been set loose.

Yes, stop giving them weapons and cash.

Now I won't watch that video as I assume it's nothing of consequence.

Especially given the live situation unfolding regarding the US diplomatic response, I can't imagine what 4 and a half minutes of comparative crap you want me to watch.

Reuters has just reported that the Interim vice Precedent has resigned because of the army's actions. Reports saying he gave legitimacy to the interim government due to his liberal secular position. He apparently has a lot of respect in Egypt. It has been confirmed he has resigned.

They are saying that this may lead to the liberal/secular's moving away from the interim government. I think that is leaving 3 camps, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Liberal/secular and the Mubarak/army supporters.

Of course they will, but it's easier for the US to defend Israel if we're not using intel resources defending the US as well.

I'm not that religious....so I can be very gleefull without regard for what the bible says

Because of our support for Israel....BTW which I support unconditionally

Anti US extremist groups got started after the Zionists chased Palestinian resistance off into Jordan in the late 40's, and they've grown in numbers, and for the same reason, ever since.

So....if we stopped propping up Israel, they would stop trying to kill us?

Sweet, let's do that...likely they can take care of themselves anyway.

Dude - Israel didn't exist in the late 1700s and early 1800s.

Okay, having listened to our leaders underlings giving the US position on the matter, the most fundamental aspect I gleamed was helping them "transition towards democracy".

    That sounds good.

Wait a minute? Isn't that what they JUST HAD, before this new "government" came in and took over?

Our compatriot needs to hit the History books, beginning with the events that led up to the Barbary Wars.

Fully thing...I have noticed that trying to force democracy does not work very well. It also seems like a kinda undemocratic thing to do.

    Fanaticism against nationalism,
are they willing to die for a man and not for their country,
I wonder when would they start realizing that they are tearing their country apart
and heeding towards a full blown civil war like Syria.
What they should do is to unite and clamor for restoration of a democratic government,
many would lend an ear if that is being pursued.

Sure, nutcases from all over the Muslim world had just filled all the incoming flights to Egypt.
    Not a single ticket left.

I don't think anything short of a full brain transplant will help John Kerry. ;)
