    how about punishing people harshly who misuse them rather than pretending that harassing honest people will stop criminals? of course the left doesn't accept that because their real goal is harassing people who don't agree with their pro criminal-anti individual agenda

    when someone is in prison, their ability to commit another violent crime against innocents is severely curtailed. The large majority of those who commit murder with firearms have extensive records. so rather make currently legal behavior illegal and pretend that will stop people from doing other illegal things, lets actually severely punish those who commit objectively harmful actions. Owning an AR 15 or a 30 round magazine is not objectively harmful

    I don't for a minute believe that the anti gun movement leaders are motivated to control crime

    Yes, dead children are a pretty good reason to reevaluate law when it happens regularly. We will likely have to agree to disagree on this point.

    And how do we stop individuals that have never committed a major crime from purchasing such a weapon? Because there are many people that disagree with even red flag laws.

    Specific policy does not mean he represents all members of his party.

    I agree Biden’s immigration policy is poor but isn’t he deporting more people than the prior administration?

    And these crimes are not being committed by recent illegals.

    Lots of violent crimes are committed by illegals. far more crimes are committed by illegals than by US citizens who own AR 15s.
