What goes around comes around, huh.
Kind of like announcing an impeachment of a president on his first day in office.

Democrats spent 5 years falsifying claims against Trump with two failed attempts to remove him from office with falsified evidence and you expected Republicans to be bipartisan? Figures

Democrats used filibuster 327 times and you claim someone else to be an obstructionist?
    Laughable

Nobody announced an impeachment on his first day in office... and he didn't warrant it until the first weekend anyway.

The First Step Act of 2018 was the only bill worth passing in the T**** era, so it did...

Again, for the 57th time, just in this thread, for unqualified appointments and judges, not for legislation...

Get your **** together, will ya?

    Good point.

I hate that common online phenomenon of people commenting on things that they haven't a clue about.

Anyway, if Manchin won't go along it is a moot point.

And Joe has said he wants to make it "painful".

He's not a firm no to changing it.... Just eliminating it.... same as me..

More Lefty logic I see. In November 2013, Senate Democrats led by Harry Reid used the nuclear option to eliminate the three-fifths vote rule on executive branch nominations and federal judicial appointments. FEDERAL JUDGES, now lefties whining I can't believe Republican's used the nuclear option against us in regards to the supreme court. lol. Ending the filibuster and we'll see the same whining in the coming years. Typical lefty though, can't imagine what they change today will cost them tomorrow. Short term lunacy and not our fault the lefty side didn't realize Supreme Court judges are indeed federal judges....

Fr the 100th time it doesn't matter what the filibuster is for the left used it 327 times during the Trump administration and now the left is crying when the good guys are using it against Biden. You have to split hairs to justify the crying.....

yes, dems were wrong then too (I said so at the time), but then repubs did it for the SC... now dems will add seats

had republicans not stolen the SC, I would be against dems doing this, as is, I could care less now

More lefty logic, I'll change it then expect others to not use it because after I used the rule, I realized I shouldn't have but reserve the right to keep using it. OK. For some reason Lefties never understand the depth of the problem they are creating, that's on the lefty wacko leaders but you can rest assure if the Right or Left changes a rule the opposing party will use it because in the Senate its all about precedent, you change something its the precedent. Most people, other than the far left, understand this. Nobody stole anything, the right used the precedent the LEFT set, now the LEFT is upset that the right used the rule/precedent they set. Next time be smarter, look at the cons before making dumb decisions like killing the filibuster.

republicans changed the SC judges to 50, not dems

dems did it for lower court judges and repubs also benifited

just like dems will benifit from the SC judges being 50 when they seat new judges

No your incorrect as usual, nothing was changed. The republicans enacted the Harry Reid wacko lefty nuclear option, you know the one about federal judges. Like I said, not our problem the left doesn't have enough critical thinking to realize the depth and consequences of their decisions. As usual your proving that yet again right now. Continue on putting your fingers in your ears and saying the same BS over and over again like a child would though.

Yeah, or like Dems changing district and appeals court judges to 50 votes vs. 60

Biden will be the first president to try to pack the court since FDR, about 90 years ago -- and both Democrats, none repubs.

Should they be a rubber stamp for Biden? Is bipartisan "100% of our focus is making sure Biden gets everything he wants".

Here is what he said it toto

""One-hundred percent of our focus is on stopping this new administration," McConnell said, adding, "We're confronted with severe challenges from a new administration, and a narrow majority of Democrats in the House and a 50-50 Senate to turn America into a socialist country, and that's 100 percent of my focus.""
    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/joe-biden/lost-shuffle-republicans-battle-around-biden-now-n1264812

Yep and that is where it should be. Biden has already turned the Republicans out and any bipartisanship with his basically telling the 10 Republicans who went to the WH to take a hike and then his using EO to get around any bipartisanship and willing to passing his legislation and their RADICAL changes and programs without seeking any bipartisanship so YOU BETCHA the Republicans are focused on stopping that an GETTING HIM to the negotiation table to honest negotiate.

The Courts haven't been packed for over a century. FDR tried but the Congress on BOTH SIDES told him to take a hike.

But it's not up to you. It's up to Joe Manchin. And he still cares.
