That is a subset of Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. Don't engage - repeat lies and denigrate/demonize individuals expressing different opinions.

And Alinsky was right. The Communists were also very good at it. That movement was responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of people, and destroyed the freedoms of millions more, but will still get credibility among leftists today. Alinsky just encapsulated into a simple set of rules what the Communists, Fascists, and Nazis already knew, and what Islamist leaders know and understand today.

It also demonstrates how easy it is to create a controversy, get people stirred up, and then have them react violently against a perceived enemy. In this case it's statues. They'll destroy public property, without debate, and argue that it's all for a good cause. The problem is that this anger can be turned easily in any direction, and can be just as easily defended by those who commit and support these crimes.

Those destroying statues or smashing shop windows are little different than those driving trucks into shoppers or shooting innocent concert-goers.. Both groups are convinced they're acting in a justified cause and for a larger good. It's just a matter of degrees, but once it starts it's easily escalated.

It's the mob phenomena. Someone shouts something outrageous which is repeated and then the collective intellects of the individuals spirals down to the lowest denominator and people begin smashing windows or harming innocent bystanders.

Antonio Gramsci formulated and refined propaganda techniques in the 1920's using mass media; Alinsky is 'Gramsci For Dummies', i.e. left wing pseudo-intellectuals. His tactics are used across the board now; it's where the tactic of referring to homosexual fetishists as 'gay' comes from, for instance, and the label 'social justice' substituted for neo-fascist PC racists also. The 'political correctness' kulturekampf agenda also derives from Gramsci.

I wouldn't know, since the veterans I know who have to use the VA are quite happy with it for the most part. Must be a regional thing when it's crap somewhere, in which case it's their Congressmen and Senators not taking care of business there. Most Americans seem to think that is all they're there for, making speeches and soliciting bribes and whatever, but they are literally your Federal rep in their districts, and have a genuine function: oversight and investigation of Federal activity in their districts and constituency services re the Federal bureaucracy; get them off their asses and doing their jobs.

The deadly VA is not a "regional" secret.

“VA negligence can be a matter of life or death," said CVA Policy Director Dan Caldwell. "While the VA wait scandal received the most attention a few years ago, the reality is that Congress hasn’t done anything to change the toxic culture at the VA and we can’t be sure that veterans still aren’t dying waiting for care. We urge California Senators to step forward in support of strong accountability measures like the VA Accountability First Act, which would make it easier to fire the bad employees who put veterans’ lives at risk.” NEWS4JAX, Investigation: More veterans died waiting for VA care OIG found VA employees ignored scheduling procedures,5/5/17.

Grand juries and prosecutors should be dealing with mass murder.
Regulators and politicians are just part of the cover up.

... and you cite an example of a regional VA problem, calling for regional Fed reps to do their jobs of oversight of Federal bureaucracies in their constituencies.

"Calling for" what? More dead veterans?

“Nearly 600 veterans could have been infected with HIV, Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C at a Veterans Affairs facility in Tomah, Wis. because a dentist didn’t properly clean his instruments.”

““It was purposeful that he was violating VA regulations,” Brahm [Medical Center Director Victoria Brahm] said at a news conference Tuesday.”

“The possible infections are not the first incident at the facility that have brought scrutiny. The center has struggled through a number of scandals involving patient deaths and deaths of veterans whose family members claim they were turned away from the VA for care. In 2014, former U.S. Marine Jason Simcakoski, 35, died after taking a mixture of medications administered by doctors. The Tomah facility became nicknamed “Candy Land” because of opioid overprescription. In September of this year, U.S. Army veteran Brian Rossell died of an apparent suicide. His mother claimed he had gone to the VA seeking help but was turned away during the summer, accusations the facility denies.” VA may have infected 600 veterans with HIV and Hepatitis, BY TERESA WELSH, MCCLATCHYDC, DECEMBER 1, 2016.

Are you familiar with the elements of the crime of murder?

I don't think honoring a great man like Robert E Lee has anything to do with the lagging fortures of black people in the hood

Rather than reach back into the distant past to find excuses for black failure lets look at the present and admit that black people are their own worst enemies

White Democrats have always been the worst enemies of black Americans. That is not likely to change.

spot on. Its only going to change when affected people realize it. The dems want people poor, uneducated and on drugs. That way they assure votes for future elections. Nothing gets dems votes more than the promise of free rides.

The DP remains the party of extreme racist hate. The RP is the party of cold indifference.

Wilson and Johnson certainly support that argument.

“Staffers have been buzzing about Andy Lack’s decision to replace “Today’s” first black female anchor with Kelly.

“Tamron doesn’t know Megyn, but of course it’s insulting. Her show was beating Kelly Ripa and ‘Nightly News’ would rate well when she would fill in for Lester Holt. It was a very tense few days for everyone. There was a lot of crying,” the source added. “Tamron never wanted this fight, but she was ready for it. No deal would stop her from standing up after Roker posted their successful ratings [on Twitter].” Tamron Hall walks away from ‘Today’ over Megyn Kelly, By Carlos Greer, February 1, 2017.

NBC is run by racists, but I doubt that there are any 60s era Democrats left in NBC's top management

A black lady statue has the snowflake far right looking for safe spaces.

It's a nothingburger being eaten by the far right.

FDR's claim to fame was "saving Capitalism", hardly a "leftist" if your entire goal is to save Capitalism from Communists. FDR was not a Leftist, Liberals are not Leftists, they are centrists at best.

This is who Lyndon Johnson was:

“According to Caro, Robert Parker, Johnson’s sometime chauffer, described in his memoir Capitol Hill in Black and White a moment when Johnson asked Parker whether he’d prefer to be referred to by his name rather than “boy,” “******” or “chief.” When Parker said he would, Johnson grew angry and said, “As long as you are black, and you’re gonna be black till the day you die, no one’s gonna call you by your ******n name. So no matter what you are called, ******, you just let it roll off your back like water, and you’ll make it. Just pretend you’re a ******n piece of furniture.””
MSNBC, Lyndon Johnson was a civil rights hero. But also a racist., By Adam Serwer, 04/11/14.
    http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/lyndon-johnson-civil-rights-racism

When the troops forced the integration of the schools in Arkansas Jim Crow became unsustainable.
Johnson, found more efficient means to destroy the black American family, culture and community which had managed to survive slavery, Woodrow Wilson and Jim Crow.

LBG's enduring legacy are America's urban hell holes and the systematic ethnic cleansing black Americans.
