Here is the problem with China on CV19

China is not a benevolent country and never has been. However if they had done this deliberately I think it would have been something at least as fatal as Ebola

for starter if they did it intentionally, they would release ANY where in the world rather than in their own city. shifting blame to SEasia or other place.

China gotta be stupid to intentionally release in their own city without a vaccine as backup, it also turn world focus on them. if they want do it intentionally, better way to do is release in africa/SE asia/taiwan, anywhere other than in their own cities, this keep focus away from them.

my wife is chinese-american, i travel there many time, i know many chinese immigrant friends back in college and high school. so yea. My parents travel there oftens as well.

if you know chinese, then it doesn't make sense for them to release COVID in their own cities right? consider if ccp really want to do it, they can release in SEasia mexico or Samerica, and no one will know its them. ccp still have to consider what majority of chinese want, otherwise they wont able to stay in power for too long.

 

It didn't make sense for them to try and make steel out of scrap metal in charcoal furnaces . Yet they did it. It didn't make sense for them to close the schools and send the students into the country side to toil on collective farms, yet they did it. as for art heritage, i'm assuming you refer to cultural revolution. yea thats on Mao, i dont see them have another cultural revolution. i mean if we want to go back, we had segregation pre 60s, whats the reason for that. Very good point, except CCP party ambition is stronger than human decency. I believe it was released by accidental incompetence. But I also believe if they found a pathogen that killed only Chinese, they would use it in a heartbeat. I also believe they see this accidental release as “divine intervention”, and they have proven the effectiveness of releasing a less that lethal pathogen.
We only need to decide where the line is drawn for an act of war.

 

We need to know the truth about what happened. That will come through investigation and through improvements in our relationship with China, probably requiring world wide political pressure.

More importantly, we (and the world) need to work on strengthening the Wuhan lab and our ties with it. The scientists there are the world's first line of defense against the tens of thousands of SARS varients present in the bat and pangoline population - any of which could figure out how to enter the human population.

Winning the blame game may well be justified. But, that is not even SLIGHTLY the win we need. The win we need is defense against future outbreaks.

Finding even more things to hate about China doesn't do that.

 

its all about theories, we however, need PROVE its not theories. its your word vs them, they basically said its we bring the virus into their country during oct 19 wuhan games. unless we have prove otherwise just theories.

my wife is not abc, she is naturalized, majority of her life spend in china, and my in-law visit us every few years. + i know chinese friend back in school. if you understand them, then its naive to think they are stupid enough and release in their own country. but enough of that, WHERE is your proof? still waiting on that forever. cause right now all i heard are words, theories, and opinions without any proof they intentionally release it.

 

All anybody has is words, theories and opinions regarding the origin of the virus. The Chinese are far from stupid.
