How Christian Truth Became Hate Speech

Because I may choose not to express myself in such a way that violates my beliefs on their behalf does not mean that I hate them. One would be a deliberate malice of forethought liar to make that accusation against me personally

 

So you won't forgive gay people, but you will forgive Trump. What makes you so sure that God doesn't have a purpose for the gay
people? It's because you hate them, so you rationalize your hate - nothing more.

 

Nope, never said that. Never would say that. There are saved people in every denomination and every religion

 

So, it would be wrong to tell a theif, a murderer, a liar, or an adulterer that they are wrong in what they do and of the consequences and point them to a better way?

 

Advice given in love would be, "Hey, Bob - I think you're wrong living a gay lifestyle, but here, let me help you carry that cake."

 

So, if their denomination has no problem with marrying gay people, and they are saved, why should YOUR wishes be given more credence
in a court of law then theirs?

 

Yet you raise up a serial adulterer to a position of authority over you and don't even bat an eye. You have no credibility when it comes to morals, and
you sure as hell don't have any standing to be lecturing other people on morals.

 

A gay person has no need for forgiveness from me. They don’t offend me personally and they haven’t yet compelled me personally to violate my beliefs. I have no reason to dislike a person because they are gay. Does God have a purpose for those who commit the other sins mentioned in 1st Corinthians 6 that if unrepentant of will keep them out of Heaven?

 

Trump has NEVER repented for being a serial adulterer - yet EVERY DAY you post threads praising him and admit to helping
put him in a position of power over you.

 

If you truly aren't offended by gay people, why have you started so many threads bashing them? I don't think you are being truthful with this post.

You do know that "hate" in the Biblical sense is NOT the same hate the way people often use the word.

I don't claim to be a Christian, so it's not hypocritical for me to judge Trump.

So why are you judging gay people? You have started multiple threads bashing them.

 

Jesus would not have participated in a sin or condoned it. He would not have baked the cake or arranged the flowers or made and passed out the invitations to witness the sin he opposed as the Son of God earlier in Human history.

 

Jesus fed everyone - he did not withhold the fish and wine because of their sins.
He told Judas to break bread with him at the Last Supper, even knowing Judas' sin.
Why do you try to withhold food and drink from gay people?

 

Hey Bob, I will help you with anything, carry anything, jump your car, bring you food when you are sick, just about anything except something that violates my morals. So no I cannot contribute to a homosexual wedding or write things on a cake I disagree with. Really sorry about that.

 

How exactly have I ever bashed them. I disagree with their recent actions and life style choices. That’s not hate or bashing.

Exactly! Refusing to participate in sin doesn’t mean that we don’t love a person. I would t expect another Christian to aid and abet me in the commission of a sin I commit. I would expect them to warn me and not participate in it with me if I fall anyway

 

Did Jesus deny anyone the fish or wine on the shores of the Galilee?
No. He did not judge them. He fed them.

 

And yet millions of Christians DO attend gay weddings or help with the celebration. Jesus did not deny wine and food on the shores of Galilee -
why do YOU think it unChristian to do the same?

 

Most of us think of the word "hate" implies we wish for the utter worst possible fate to befall the object of our hate. Including death.

Hate as often used in the Bible simply means to withdraw affection.
