Totally untrue. The liberal groups were investigated after they were discovered but weren't harassed like the Tea Party groups. They were an afterthought, cover to hide what they were doing. There was only a couple of liberal groups. The Tea Party groups often received visits from other agencies as well including the FBI, DEA, BATF, the EPA and Bureau of Land Management. Many conservative groups never got their 501c3 status because they spent years and too much money fighting the IRS and they gave up. The heck Obama didn't know. You know he knew. Lerner visited the White House over 150 times during that time frame. Obama was directing that. No other reason for her to go there.

1. The Republicans have been packing the courts & bragging about it for the last three decades. And you wanna spread concern about Democrats daring to try it too? What ever happened to equal rights?
2. Biden didn't spy on Trump, the FBI did. It was their job. The FBI also looked into the Biden/Hunter affair in Ukraine, but found nothing illegal. Seems all fair to me, since both Biden & Trump got investigated. Neither found guilty. Flynn pleaded guilty. I guess that settles that. Since Flynn pleaded guilty, I guess charging him with the Hatch Act might be a good fit. I'm no lawyer.
3. No President in history equals Trump in corruption. He has set a new standard for all of us &/or future Presidents to try hard to avoid.
4. Biden is old, but not senile or weak. He has served this country through his entire adult life. He's not perfect. He's made mistakes. But he's often tried hard to learn from those mistakes. I don't agree with him on many issues, but I like him as a person. Unlike Trump, Biden has a heart, & right now that's something I feel strongly America desperately needs.

 

Do you realize that all of those definitions given are either so broad that they can be interpreted to include every single politician or is a leftist talking point?

Name me a single politician that doesn't commit smear campaigns. Name me a single politician that doesn't try to use the court to their advantage. Name me a single politician that doesn't try and do political favors for their friends. Name me a single politician that doesn't make law that makes something a criminal act. Name me a single politician that doesn't try to take advantage of religion.

You obviously don't know what court packing means. It means adding seats to the court. Nobody has added a seat to the Supreme Court in over 150 years. Equal Rights for blacks was fought for by Republicans from 1860's to the 1960's against the democrats and we finally won. I don't know what that has to do with the courts.

Nope they're not. But they are pro-life. Meaning that the ZEF has a right to life. You picked a horrible example there. Whether you like it or not both sides of the abortion debate have valid points. Women most certainly should and do have a Right to decide what goes on with their own body (I'm pro-choice politically). And ZEF's ARE living human beings and human beings have a Right to Life (I'm pro-life personally).

I am a "leftish" or "liberal," & I think the term "Pro-Life" should cover everyone living rather than being limited to the narrow defines of the unborn fetus. But I don't see evidence of this around me. My experience with the Pro-Life is that their concerns for life end with birth. After that, it's everyone for themselves, sink or swim. I find that discomforting & cold hearted. As a liberal, I care about life & lives after birth, for most of the challenges we all face come after birth. It's nice to find others around us who have compassion for us as we struggle, but in my experience, few of those are Pro-Life Republicans. That makes me sad, not mad.

As a "leftist," I am uncomfortable with the banning of any speech, but I am sensitive to the damage extremists can cause to societies with that extremist hatred. I don't know what the answer is to protect freedom of speech while protecting the safety & security of fellow Americans that hate speech can erode. I'd like to see suggestions.

 

Except that's not the way Conservatives think. They support adoption agencies and they believe that it is the parents responsibility to take care of the child. That means getting a job, or more if necessary. They also support child support...though they would like it to apply more evenly and based on the actual needs of the child. The main difference between conservatives and leftists is self responsibility vs group responsibility. Being an Independent, a true one, I see both sides of the argument and support an equal amount of both. I do not want either one to be "more" than the other.

Peoples safety and security are already provided. Republicans support the police far more than leftists do. Conservatives also have no problem with arresting someone that actually incites violence. But Conservatives also know the difference between "All of X group should die" vs "get your guns and let's kill all of X group". Note that I'm not condoning either expression, but one I will support their Right to say while calling for the arrest of the other one. Leftists that I know or have seen would consider both to be hate speech and banned or punished in some way shape or form.

I didn't say the Constitution places a limit on the number of justices. I said he's trying to circumvent the Constitution by packing the court with legislators who will make laws from the bench. Get it? You don't want to go that route because next time the GOP is in then what's to stop them from packing the court with any number of justices?
