How do I convert Jewish friends to Christianity?

Your posts are claiming your religion is superior and that Jewish people will go to hell if they don't believe as you do. Smug and self-righteous.

 

But you are belittling Jewish people when you claim their religion is inferior and that they will go to hell because they don't believe as you do.

 

I respect and love the Jewish people. I stand by Israel. Continue to twist my words and try to divide.

To do so would mean I never truly had agape for her. I do.

Agape is, by definition, selfless. It seems to me that the only Christians able to shrug this thing off are ones who are primarily motivated by selfishness

Pressing too hard to convert friends to Christianity seldom has good results. Just plain conversation and congenial behavior works better. I like the sentiment attributed to St. Francis "Preach the Gospel at all times. ... Use words if necessary."

 

Nothing is superior, only different. You just want to use mental gymnastics to oppress Christian’s.

 

How is disagreement "oppression"?

 

Obsessing over a few to not save the many is worse.

If a ship full of people will sink if you do not push a fat person off… you take care of the problem because it saves more people. Is it sad? Yes. Does it feel good to ignore one to save many? No. It is for the greater good though.

Also God abhors the Nazis.

 

If you can just turn off compassion for your own selfish reasons, then the compassion was never genuine. You said was never really, truly a Christian, but it appears you never really, truly had agape for these people.

If hell is real, God is worse than any Nazi.

 

I feel bad for the people that are sacrificed spiritually to obtain salvation. I just do the right thing and save a greater number.

Saying God/Yahweh is worse than people torturing others is absurd. Nazis epitomized human evil.

 

You "feel bad," but you have no agape for them.

And God, if hell is real, epitomizes superhuman evil. Hell is worse than the Holocaust.

 

Also, @Aquarius , you say you care about the greater number. Will the greater number of souls that have ever existed go to heaven or hell?

 

I believe when all is said and done more people will quietly accept their lord and ascend to heaven .

Including people in hell? If angels can fall from heaven, why can't people convert and rise from hell?

I am not a pastor so stop interrogating me. You can use your intellect to run circles around me and make me look stupid but I always will have faith while you will be very lonely and sad unless you accept salvation.

I've asked pastors. They can't answer either. Like you, they advise me that I have too much agape and should turn it off.

You encouraged me to introspect. All I'm doing is asking that you do the same.

I always will have compassion, empathy, love, agape. The faith you offer made me more lonely and sad than anything else ever has. And all it could offer was an eternity of this sadness and loneliness.

 

It’s just amazing how some people think they have all the answers about religion and life. When in reality no one really knows anything for sure, that’s why they call it “faith “. Anyone that says they know for sure are either delusional or full of sheit.

 

Looks like a case of psychological problems to me. Probably to the point of needing to be medicated and hospitalized.
