What United States have you been living in for the past forty years? You've never heard of "affirmative action" or "reverse discrimination"? Got a few hours? Just google those two words and spend the rest of the day reading. Since you've been in an information vacuum for decades, start with the origin of this egregious injustice here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_Order_10925

Many Whites of the mid and late-1970's (and ever afterwards), including myself, have suffered from racial quotas imposed by governments and corporations because of mandates directly related to "affirmative action". Are you just another one of these unctuous hyperliberal ostriches that sticks its head in the ground when it sees something it doesn't like? When you discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, for any reason, it should be a crime! If you really support this actively, or by sticking your head in the ground, then join with the American Nazi Party and others like them for you have more in common than you might think.... The real irony is that a lot of us young, idealistic Whites of the '70's were strong supporters of Civil Rights, but later we got **** on by the very people we were trying to help.

Oh, BTW... ever go to LA? Head on into Compton sometime and start hitting on Black women there and see how long you can keep that up before somebody kicks your teeth down your throat, or worse....

AFTER they lost the Civil Rights battle to the Republicans and NOT about Civil Rights quit peddling BS. And we all know Thruman when he was a segregationist along with Gore and Byrd and Maddox and Wallace and all the others were embarced by the Dmeocrats and even after the tried to split and run as Dixiecrats were welcomed back into the Democrat party.

You seem to be ignorant of the fact that it was the Republican party that fought for civil rights and voting rights for 150 years and were responsible for the passage once they got Johnson on board, who only did it for political expediency.

Yes when when he fought against Civil Rights as a Democrat after he lost and the battle over as a Republican.

Yep it took the Republicans almost 150 years but they finally got it passed. Once it was passed an Thrumond didn't need the Democrats to back him on segregation he switched to the Republicans.

Over the "Great Society" programs and the McGovern wing of the party taking over.

Yes the man who helped create the so-called Southern Strategy, a man who knows of what he speaks and demonstrates it as posted. Lack of rebuttal noted.

Funny how one of my best friends who worked for the state highway department won such a lawsuit.

Yes. Like each and everyone of the Dixiecrats were welcomed back into the Democrat Party and only left it after the Republicans defeated them on Civil Rights and Voting Rights.

    Anything else?

I've 'rebutted' enough of the silliness of this thread. Count me 'wrong' if you prefer; I'm out.

White flag noted. You were never able to substantiate your claim by any measure.

Because in Massachusetts the 6% black population actually lives and interacts with the majority.
