How to best deal with North Korea

wait so we have the largest navy in the world, for some reason if someone else building a navy is unacceptable. when US has over 600 base all over the world, I mean come on. China has what 15,000km coast line and their economy is base on sea lanes, so they can't build a strong navy to protect that like we did?

they do same as we do. their oil is import from middle east, and resource import from aussie, Canada, US, and Africa, guess what all these require strong navy for protection, they need a navy for the same reason we do.

No sooner did Russia and China say that their objective is to have North Korea freeze its nuclear program and South Korea freeze their joint military drills with the United States, the US and S. Korea did the complete opposite ...so is disarmament what Washington really wants... or is it subservience to the masters of the world?

We saw the fruits of Washington's arrogance in the ruins of Iraq, Libya, and Syria, are we now going to see it in Asia as well? Is the Korea's going to be the one world order freaks latest playground? Kim is no fool. He knows that if Iraq and Libya had nuclear arms, those countries wouldn't be in the mess they are in now... and Saddam and Ghadaffy would still be alive.

There is no way Kim is going to get rid of his nukes without strong guarantees by Russia and China, the only nations he trusts. After all he is not insane. I'm sure he's seen the video of Ghadafy's demise... as well as the video of Hillary laughing.

Anyway there is a very tense meeting going on now at the UN. Of course the MSM won't tell people what is being said, other than what Haley says ...which means nothing of course. She lies, just like her predecessor.

I find it amazing that many complain about the propaganda lies given to the population of the 'enemy' countries yet believe all the propaganda lies that their government tells that

And we fire bombed cities to get to manufacturing not to kill civilians. We bombed Nagasaki and Hiroshima not to kill citizens but to get to their manufacturing. There were more populous cities if we just wanted to kill Japanese citizens. You don't know history you just abhor war. Well, warriors abhor war in a way you cannot possibly imagine. Most warriors never want to see war again and wish to do what they can to avoid it. So they are on your side.

But if you know history then you understand many countries and in this instance one man is dangerous for the rest of humanity in a way you just don't seem to understand well. He needs to go away and his country be allowed to enter the community of nations. You can't be a pacifist and live long in this world. We just aren't ready for that although we can all long for it.

 

1 Stop making dangerous threats and cowardly against North Korea. The US, as always, is the greatest threat to world peace.
2 Recognize that North Korea has a right to protect itself since the US bombed thousand of civilians in the Korean war.
3. Mind your own business.

Identifying which countries are dangerous and which countries are not is an important geopolitical survival skill much as it is with poisionous snakes

We don't have a rhyme for north korea as we do for coral snakes

If japan or south korea goes nuclear it would only be because they are being threatened by north korea

So the whole world really has not need for nuclear weapons and will never want them

 

This is modern day politics.

Sure, there is a gropu that most likely loves the US bases and a group that absolutely hates them.

The majority of people most likely see the benefits and negatives of such bases and rationalize accordingly. If this wasn't true, there would be a much bigger push to get the bases taken out.

Instead we have people taht over sensationalize a group of 200 people protesting

 

Several countries including Iran, North Korea and half a dozen others that actively seek Nuclear Weapons and the means to use them may differ by a bit.

 

Give us all a huge break. There is no giant conspiracy to get a peaceful benign benevolent regime. We see them firing missiles and we know they've detonated nukes. They want offensive nuclear capabilities for first strike abilities. He wants to make himself untouchable because if anyone can get their hands on him he's a dead man. We know they sponsor terrorism and commit it against their own people. Who else has concentration camps in their country for political prisoners which include parents and children? Who else kills their political opposition?

 

I don't know about sponsoring terrorism. Domestic violence? NK on NK. Not my problem or concern.
Sharing tech with Iran is no secret. They have an alliance and ships full of NK ballistic missiles have been captured on the way to Iran.
NK has a significant arms industry. It trades with "the axis of evil".

I think shelling fishing villages, and torpedoing ships counts as acts of dangerous aggression that must be respected as such.

 

as soon as there is a cruise missile launched from one of our subs or ships china and or Russia satellite will pick it up and call kim on the hot line , then kims fireworks display goes off also and the subs and patrol boats launch their torpedoes and cruse missiles and then kims drones will launch with nerve and biological agents over the border, under the radar and spray or troops on the dmz and thats just for starts

 

The country knows it needs the Americans just like S Korea does. We see what happens when a crazy man defies logic and throws us out like the Philippines. Now ISIS runs the southern part of the country and they are in much worse shape. Now some of that would happen anyway but not to this extent as the US would help more if we had troops there.

I'd prefer Japan take care of itself but they like it like it is. They remember, as does China, the horrors of WWII. But there is more to it than that. SK needs us.

 

Horse manure. There won't be enough warning for cruise missiles although once the B52s are aloft that will be noticed. Cruise missiles from ships are harder but once we fire hundreds it will be noticed.

They will try to cut the head off before moving forward.
