Theres another thread about this. It looked like a bad joke followed by god stuff. Voting for people with a D or an R by thier name means there is no concern for these issues.

Yep, unfortunately, the negative campaigning works, and it is only a question of who of the two parties can paint their opponent in a more negative light that more people believe in:

Dems:
-Trump is the end of democracy
-He is an autocrat and authoritarian
-He'll pull out of NATO
-He is Putin's lapdog

GOP:
-Bribed Biden
-Biden wants us invaded by illegals
-The stock market will crash
-Biden wants forever wars

Nobody has a leg to stand on when it comes to accusing the other side of fear mongering.

Add to that unrelenting 24/7 fake news propaganda, spouting lies and semi-truths, one has to become desperate for our country. As we can tell from this thread, everyone lives in their own bubble and refuses to believe anything positive about the political opposition or anything negative about their own side. In the absence of fact-based voting, only bad things can come out of this in the future.

You should listen to what people say instead of what 'the news' tells you they said. He made it 100% clear within the first minute of his speech that this was a sarcastic criticism of how conservatives are portrayed in the media.

Just letting you know it isn't taking hold. What has taken hold is a ho hum attitude for a rematch of election most Americans don’t want. Fact is most Americans don’t want Biden reelected nor do they want Trump to regain the white house. It’s quite simple and observable if one looks outside the two respective major parties cocoons.

You have roughly a a third of all Americans who are asking themselves why they should bother to vote when they dislike and don’t want neither major party candidate to become the next president. Now who’s fault is that?

Exactly. I think most folks have gotten so use to all the negative personal attack ads, that few pay attentions to them anymore. Both major parties try to paint the other party’s candidates as the most evil scumbags on the face of the earth. It’s working, considering Biden is seen unfavorably or negatively by 57% of all Americans, Trump by 56%. Which simply means there’s quite a lot of folks out there who view both as the most evil sucmbags on the face of this earth.
