    The exact same argument can be made for homo relationships.

    How did you determine that being attracted to the same sex is a conscious decision? Are you saying you could make yourself be attracted to the same sex if you wanted to? If so, how do you actually know this? Have you ever tested it?

    More importantly, race has no impact upon a couples ability to procreate. The genders of the couple has everything to do with that ability.

    Still, where it concerns "marriage" in the legal sense... ability to "procreate" is essentially irrelevant. And you've been told that likely thousands of times already.

    Anal sex doesn't "create" STD's. As long as a gay couple are similarly faithful (or use protection if they have sex with others) the risk is virtually zero.

    This has absolutely nothing to do with same sex marriage.

    I'm not claiming people were born in their sexual orientations, I'm saying it's not a conscious choice - and biological factors which can make one more likely to be gay combined with environmental factors are likely at play. That's what the evidence suggests.

    Is it something stating that homosexuals have higher rates of STDs? Because you'd be right, although what relevance this has is unclear.

    Of course the cause of homosexuality hasn't been 'proven'; yet, there is absolutely evidence that certain genetic factors (what people are born with as human beings) likely contributes to their sexual-orientation later in life.

    In general, it is a mistake to think that someone is claiming they can 'prove' the cause of homosexuality; as of yet... no one has the scientific data to do that.

    People do that to vilify homosexuals. Surely not all homosexual people are promiscuous or irresponsible in their activities. Yet, the sheer numbers of problems which can be noted amongst HETEROSEXUALS, is as important as anything else.

    That's an action. Actions and biochemical make-ups are not comparable. Being homosexual is defined as "having a sexual attraction towards members of the same sex" and is part of who a person is. They didn't choose this attraction anymore than you chose to like women.

    Still can't understand a legal contract. Dogs are property not people. If you want to have some kind of religious ceremony though, don't let anyone stop you.

    Correction: choose to be with either a woman or man. There's nothing heterosexual or homosexual about a bisexual who no matter the nature of the relationship they're in still have desires towards both sexes: that's why the term 'bisexual' exists.

    It has everything to do with the government legislating an idea though:

    We think children are always better off with both biological parents.
    We think society is better off if races do not mix.

    And we know how much you would like the government to legislate morality.
