First I'd like to bring up a small irony that America, with it's tradition of reverence towards the american revolution and guerrilla warfare, has managed to go from playing the guerrilla to playing the invader. Flip the settings of Red Dawn to somewhere in the desert, change out the clothing and give them old soviet issue weapons and you could call it "Operation Iraqi Freedom" and do a documentary. Now on the OP, personally I'd sit tight and learn Chinese. If they've successfully invaded, beaten all our conventional forces and somehow disarmed our nuclear deterrents, they've won. You can be as much of a freedom fighter/terrorist as you want, but in reality you're unlikely to persuade them to leave(look at England and Ireland). At that point China's won and the Patriotic last ditch effort is going to get yourself, your buddies and probably a good number of civilians killed... And make the occupation worse since all the soldiers occupying your city now want blood for the buddies of theirs you've killed.

What does 'Red Dawn' mean? do you mean 'if the people of America took back their property from the thieving capitalists?' or 'if the Vietnamese state-capitalists somehow (unbelievably) seized power over the mugs'? If you had a revolution, 99% of the people would be immensely better off, obviously - but you'd have to have escaped your brainwashing, which is difficult.

I ain't talking about just China. but any country that invades America. What's really sad is thinking America can attack countries worldwide in broad daylight or at night with cluster bombs, troops on the streets, etc...but never imagining that it could happen here.
Here's the irony, the people who are talking about threats to america are the same people pushing us to go out and make enemies. When I want to avoid getting shot on the street I don't go running up to people with guns and start hitting them. Conservative Logic: America's not safe Therefore we need to make as many more enemies for her to deal with as we can.
Well in Red Dawn only half the country was taken over. In your scenerio would it be the whole country or is there still an orginised America fighting?

Head to the woods and never come back. Sure I might help out some freedom fighters with a skirmish here and there but for the most part I would just take to the woods to protect mine! Honestly I think someone would get to the Button before that happened. All those nukes getting old. May as well test them out. Nuke (heavy) every port China has, tac Nukes to take care of their navy and strat nukes for their infrastructure and centralized government. By the time they reorganized we could have wolf packs lying in wait. Nuke Marks for every flotilla.
