More to the point, imo, is the reality that the creator of the universe would not need to send his son to death in order so he could forgive some of us for violating laws that he himself established.

of course what were his real last words - even the bible writers could not decide what they should be

Matt.27:46,50: "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, eli, lama sabachthani?" that is to say, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" ...Jesus, when he cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost."

Luke23:46: "And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, "Father, unto thy hands I commend my spirit:" and having said thus, he gave up the ghost."

John19:30: "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, "It is finished:" and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."

Yes ... in addition to the idiocy of sending someone to perform miracles for the benefit of all mankind (present and future) yet performing his sleight-of-hand tricks for only a very few people. "Dying for our sins" and "virgins giving birth" might have made sense to primitive & superstitious man 2,000 years ago but today we want to see the DNA results or we're not buying it.

So you've never read the Gospels or the Epistles of Peter, John, James?

Yes, but most Christians do not insist that every word is objectively true. When you and others like you lump us all under one roof and claim we all believe the same thing, you are indeed creating a strawman.

And that was minor torture compared to other cases in the Bible.

Cite one biblical verse that says that God gives Gentiles gifts.

What do you mean, not objectively true?
    Are you saying errors?
Is not the bible the inspired written word of god? So that each word was written from god through the chosen writers?

And I never claimed all. I said most.
Many protestants, if not most and RC church, the biggest amount of christians, believe the bible as the true inspired written words from god.
So, it very well is true.

LOL. I asked a pertinent question to your claim that jesus is god and is man.
That you can't answer it doesn't make those asking you to explain yourself a troll.
It does suggest you can't explain what you post.

I have explained it and you know it. God came to earth as a man. The book of Phillipians explains it as does the book of Romans. First Timothy 3:16 says God was manifest in the flesh. Bye.

    For your refresher.
If Jesus was god in the flesh, did he know he was asking himself why he forsaked himself?
This is your logic, not mine.

    Yes i have
And not one of those were written by an apostle of jesus

The earliest and best manuscripts of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were all written anonymously.[10] Furthermore, the books of Acts, Hebrews, 1 John, 2 John and 3 John were also written anonymously.[10]

The Gospel of Peter[13] and the attribution to Paul of the Epistle to the Laodiceans are both examples of pseudepigrapha that were not included in the New Testament canon.[14] They are often referred to as New Testament apocrypha.

Gospel According to John, fourth of the four New Testament narratives recounting the life and death of Jesus Christ. John’s is the only one of the four not considered among the Synoptic Gospels (i.e., those presenting a common view). Although the Gospel is ostensibly written by St. John the Apostle, “the beloved disciple” of Jesus, there has been considerable discussion of the actual identity of the author. The language of the Gospel and its well-developed theologysuggest that the author may have lived later than John and based his writing on John’s teachings and testimonies. Moreover, the facts that several episodes in the life of Jesus are recounted out of sequence with the Synoptics and that the final chapter appears to be a later addition suggest that the text may be a composite. The Gospel’s place and date of composition are also uncertain; many scholars suggest that it was written at Ephesus, in Asia Minor, about 100 CE for the purpose of communicating the truths about Christ to Christians of Hellenistic background.

Overall.... except for Paul, the entire the New Testament seems to have ben written in greek by sophisticated but anonymous authors.... in contrast to the apostles who were poor and unsophisticated people whose language was aramaic.

”... and the Lord bestoweth upon the Gentiles of the earth gifts of great value and were told 'Go unto Thee and procreate for you are all each of you children emanated from these, the Holy Loins'. And thus He indicated by both forefinger and declaration in the direction of those loins of which He spoke, His own.”

The biblical stories as we currently know they were originally written by a committee of story tellers, writers, and artists in England in the 680s-690s. they produced three master copies, each weighing about 75 pounds. They were written in Latin. All other Bible versions are based on that. The Bible, as such, did not exist before that time.

The Epistles are written to Jews and Gentiles. Aren't you aware of that?

Remember Galatins 2:15 (CEV) = 15 We are Jews by birth and are not sinners like Gentiles.

Galatians 3:1 (CEV) = You stupid Galatians! I told you exactly how Jesus Christ was nailed to a cross. Has someone now put an evil spell on you?
