You can choose to believe whomever you want. The accused, three people who arguably have no reason to remember the party at all, or the alleged victim.

I...guess? If your "biggest written contradiction" is that she failed to explain the step by step process for how she escaped the room, then I think you should be able to recognize that is not a very strong objection.

 

Whatever.However what isn't in doubt is the way the Democrats act.
Exactly as they did when asking questions of Hillary at her
Benghazi hearing and also the Peter Strzok hearing.
Wasting precious time in heaping praise instead of very important
questions.Making a farce out of Government time.

 

Credibility and believability absolutely play into determining character and fitness to serve, stop acting like a child.

This isn't a criminal court. It's a public court. The POTUS picked a SCOTUS judge. This absolutely unequivocally is a popularity contest.

If it were a criminal court you'd have a valid point but in this case, it's all about who's believable. It's all about who is credible.

And Kavanaugh has his work cut out for him.

 

Christine Ford said Leland Keyser was at the party. This is what Keyser has said under penalty of felony: “Simply put, Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford.”

No, she did say that she ran out of the room first and ran across the hall and locked herself in the bathroom before the boys left the room.

But I agree that it is ridiculous to think that she needed to provide a step by step process for how she opened the door.

 

She doesn't mention in any of the written statements that either Mark or Brett left the room and then she was able to get away. Go read her written statements again, very carefully.

No, it's not ridiculous. It's a fact that can be established. When someone says something that's physically impossible, I wanna say "Hold up there missy, how did this happen?"

was or how she got there.What day it was.
Or even exactly how and who leaked her Identity.

The old geezers, Grassley and Hatch, hiding behind a woman's skirts for questioning, is probably self-serving. It plays well to the national audience, but the GOP base wants the alleged victim attacked. Mitchell has done a creditable job so far, seeking the truth of the matter rather than pushing a partisan agenda.

It is important that Americans not labor under the delusion that this is a criminal trial. It is an attempt to clarify a matter that speaks to a prospective Supreme Court justice's character and suitability for a lifetime appointment.

 

I believe that she is not lying that there was an attempted "sexual" assault. What I do not believe is that this encounter was a sexual rape. It was a bodily assault ( assuming he is telling the truth) but not rape since there was no penetration.

Her corrections or clarifications help, thanks for the update, but they also raise some questions. She's clarifying a written statement not oral testimony. I'm not so willing to forgive these errors in a written statement.

I mean senators may be looking at this and thinking "does today affect my chances of reelection?" But beyond that, nyet.

 

No, seriously people. She's on the record as not remembering whether it was full or partial, and this was two months ago. That kind of lapse of memory makes it virtually impossible to remember something 35 years ago.

exact approach used in the Hillary Benghazi Senate hearing.
Again harping on the lack of a " thorough " F.B.I. investigation.

Give it a rest. We shouldn't use FBI resources until she's able to provide physical evidence, or even a testimony that can withstand five minutes of cross examination.
