Nearly a third of Republicans say they will never get vaccinated, new poll finds

At least 30 per cent of Republicans may never get a Covid-19 vaccine and only one per cent will get inoculated as soon as possible, according to a new poll by the Monmouth University released on Wednesday.

This was in sharp contrast with Democrats — only two per cent said they were likely to never get the jab.

About 54 per cent Republicans confirmed that they have received the Covid-19 vaccine, while a whopping 96 per cent Democrats said they are already vaccinated, the poll confirmed.

There couldn't be more blatant evidence that the Conservatives' anti-science rhetoric is killing people.

And this poll also expresses the huge education gap between the right and the left in this country.

Unfortunately, it needed a pandemic to be so cruelly exposed.

Education is truly the Republicans' kryptonite.

And why is the FDA holding FOIA for at least 50 years on the vaccine data? We should have immediate access to this data. Not parsed over 50+ years...

As a percentage, you do realize the largest group revolving around vaccine hesitancy is that of the black and Latino community. But hey, let's not let facts get into the way of going all "Orange man bad"... You go get em tiger!

The funny part is that it's pretty much a lock most of the people saying they'll never get the COVID vaccines have received vaccines in the past for schooling, military, or both... I hope those idiots give their parents hell for being good parents...

I'm also curious why Pfizer and Moderna have total immunity from liability if something unintentionally goes wrong with their vaccines. I just got the booster and it sucked. Totally in bed for 24 hours after and felt like crap for another 24.

3) In my area the lowest percent of unvaccinated are Dems. Black Dems. Can you spin that?

You sound like a great person. My wife has not been jabbed by the shots. I have. She got COVID and I didn’t. I wasn’t even worried about getting it. Kissed her and all. I never got it, so it stands to reason that those who are crying about the unvaccinated while being vaccinated are equally as worthless for fear mongering.

 

I want as many Americans as possible to have access to higher education.

The more educated people are, the more likely they are to vote Democratic and also to escape the pandemic.

The Republicans want the exact opposite.

I would even say that keeping Americans ignorant is part of their political agenda.

 

Are you kidding? Some red states have the highest population of blacks.

 

They like to blame the mutations on black and brown people but most are not Republicans.

I've always found it bizarre that they hold themselves up to be everyone's Morality Police (ie. abortion, divorce, etc.) but worship one of the most unethical, immoral, idiotic, selfish, boorish people on the planet.

So, they can tell a woman she has to keep a pregnancy she does not want and the result is PERMANENT, while wearing a mask, socially distancing causes them to push back and both of those are TEMPORARY measures. Even the vaccine is looking like it has a short half-life. None of those things require providing for another human being for at least 18 years.

I'm not partisan at all but I've given up on their double-standards. It's sickening.
