I'm not a Republican, but I'm never taking the jab. I had CV-19. I have antibodies, T Cells, B Cells, and per the La Jolla and Cleveland studies and what Israel proved.... I'm good. I don't need it.

I think you're severely over-estimating the direct political effects of covid deaths. For some perspective, there were something like 155 million votes in the 2020 presidential election. Coronavirus deaths are something like 800,000 across the whole country. Even if every single one of them were an avid Trump voter (and we know they're significantly more evenly distributed than that), you're talking about a minuscule slice of the electorate (about half a percent). Your apparent hopes that this is going to save the Dems from the tidal wave headed their way next November appears to be ill-conceived.

Rather ironic when you consider their tooting their horn about their high level of education in this thread....

I guess that's just Democrat math for you

I'd also like to point out in your snippet, Delaware, ranked 7th... also has some of the most restricted voting laws in the country.

... to VACCINATED people??? So the vaccines aren't working then?? And if there are vaccinated people who are getting sick, then those vaccinated people are spreading it around as well, are they not??

Do you ever think these sorts of things though??

A very sick and inhumane position to take. Disgusting.

You don't have to justify your personal decisions to me in any way, and this response is just meant to plant a thought seed, but I've never understood why people (such as yourself) continue getting the jabs even after they realize that they are being forced to be liable for any side effects that happen to them and even after they know that the jabs make them feel like complete crap afterwards.

Fake news! Every single Republican I know is vaxxed. The only person I know who isn’t vaxxed is a black democrat who is nervous about it because it hasn’t been around long (a legitimate reason IMO)

That sucks! My Moderna booster is scheduled for the 24th
Anything I can do to minimize the side effects like drink lots of water or something or is it inevitable? I got no side effects from the Moderna vaccine itself when I got it back in june

Just make sure that whoever is giving you a vaccine that they draw the plunger back to ensure there is no blood and therefor they are not in your blood stream. When they inject it directly into your blood stream is where they think the heart issues come into play. The vaccine settles in the heart and that's not a good thing. It needs to be absorbed over time.

Note: I think the vaccines are great for people with "at risk" conditions and those over 55.... because I follow the actual Science.

I've thought the same too. I am concerned that the vaccine causes cells to die while manufacturing the spike protein. The spike protein I do not think is a risk but what happens if the vaccine kills off too many cells that are slow to regenerate or cells that neve regenerate. The vaccine injected into the blood system can go anywhere. If just the muscle tissue will be ok

Well ... you could cancel your appointment. That would minimize the side effects. But it's totally your choice. If you want to spend Christmas feeling miserable, you do you.

And here's the risk the Repubs want to force on women:

Normal, frequent or expectable temporary side effects of pregnancy:

    • exhaustion (weariness common from first weeks)
    • altered appetite and senses of taste and smell
    • nausea and vomiting (50% of women, first trimester)
    • heartburn and indigestion
    • constipation
    • weight gain
    • dizziness and light-headedness
    • bloating, swelling, fluid retention
    • hemmorhoids
    • abdominal cramps
    • yeast infections
    • congested, bloody nose
    • acne and mild skin disorders
    • skin discoloration (chloasma, face and abdomen)
    • mild to severe backache and strain
    • increased headaches
    • difficulty sleeping, and discomfort while sleeping
    • increased urination and incontinence
    • bleeding gums
    • pica
    • breast pain and discharge
    • swelling of joints, leg cramps, joint paininfection including from serious and potentially fatal disease
(pregnant women are immune suppressed compared with non-pregnant women, and are more susceptible to fungal and certain other diseases)
    • extreme pain on delivery
    • hormonal mood changes, including normal post-partum depression
    • continued post-partum exhaustion and recovery period (exacerbated if a c-section -- major surgery -- is required, sometimes taking up to a full year to fully recover)
Normal, expectable, or frequent PERMANENT side effects of pregnancy:

    • stretch marks (worse in younger women)
    • loose skin
    • permanent weight gain or redistribution
    • abdominal and vaginal muscle weakness
    • pelvic floor disorder (occurring in as many as 35% of middle-aged former child-bearers and 50% of elderly former child-bearers, associated with urinary and rectal incontinence, discomfort and reduced quality of life -- aka prolapsed utuerus, the malady sometimes badly fixed by the transvaginal mesh)
    • changes to breasts
    • increased foot size
    • varicose veins
    • scarring from episiotomy or c-section
    • other permanent aesthetic changes to the body (all of these are downplayed by women, because the culture values youth and beauty)
    • increased proclivity for hemmorhoids
    • loss of dental and bone calcium (cavities and osteoporosis)
    • higher lifetime risk of developing Altzheimer's
    • newer research indicates microchimeric cells, other bi-directional exchanges of DNA, chromosomes, and other bodily material between fetus and mother (including with "unrelated" gestational surrogates)
    Occasional complications and side effects:

    • complications of episiotomy
    • spousal/partner abuse
    • hyperemesis gravidarum
    • temporary and permanent injury to back
    • severe scarring requiring later surgery
      (especially after additional pregnancies)
    • dropped (prolapsed) uterus (especially after additional pregnancies, and other pelvic floor weaknesses -- 11% of women, including cystocele, rectocele, and enterocele)
    • pre-eclampsia (edema and hypertension, the most common complication of pregnancy, associated with eclampsia, and affecting 7 - 10% of pregnancies)
    • eclampsia (convulsions, coma during pregnancy or labor, high risk of death)
    • gestational diabetes
    • placenta previa
    • anemia (which can be life-threatening)
    • thrombocytopenic purpura
    • severe cramping
    • embolism (blood clots)
    • medical disability requiring full bed rest (frequently ordered during part of many pregnancies varying from days to months for health of either mother or baby)
    • diastasis recti, also torn abdominal muscles
    • mitral valve stenosis (most common cardiac complication)
    • serious infection and disease (e.g. increased risk of tuberculosis)
    • hormonal imbalance
    • ectopic pregnancy (risk of death)
    • broken bones (ribcage, "tail bone")
    • hemorrhage and
    • numerous other complications of delivery
    • refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease
    • aggravation of pre-pregnancy diseases and conditions (e.g. epilepsy is present in .5% of pregnant women, and the pregnancy alters drug metabolism and treatment prospects all the while it increases the number and frequency of seizures)
    • severe post-partum depression and psychosis
    • research now indicates a possible link between ovarian cancer and female fertility treatments, including "egg harvesting" from infertile women and donors
    • research also now indicates correlations between lower breast cancer survival rates and proximity in time to onset of cancer of last pregnancy
    • research also indicates a correlation between having six or more pregnancies and a risk of coronary and cardiovascular disease
    Less common (but serious) complications:

    • peripartum cardiomyopathy
    • cardiopulmonary arrest
    • magnesium toxicity
    • severe hypoxemia/acidosis
    • massive embolism
    • increased intracranial pressure, brainstem infarction
    • molar pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease
      (like a pregnancy-induced cancer)
    • malignant arrhythmia
    • circulatory collapse
    • placental abruption
    • obstetric fistula
    More permanent side effects:

    • future infertility
    • permanent disability
    • death."""""""""""""""""""

Thank you for reaffirming that righties only want to punish women for having consensual sex...the fetus means nothing.

And for affirming you had no rebuttal to my post.
    ..

If abortion is banned then women are punished for having sex and getting pregnant. Having sex and getting pregnant are not CRIMES even if righties think they are.

    LOL, a medical miracle !!!!

    Who TF said it was?????

    No , it isn't.

Ya, great advice which human beings haven't followed in 10,000 years....."decisions" aren't crimes either and abortion of an unwanted ZEF is often a good decision.

NOW, back to you complaining the vaccine has side effects....and you ignoring pregnancy has side effects because you can't refute it..

ALL drugs have side effects...aspirin has side effects, the "morning after" pill , which righties think women should take, has side effects...

Why are you special ;) ???

I wish the left would knock it off with their republican bashing and hatred of them/us.

Thirty percent of illegals are refusing the vaccine. Does the left call them ignorant, science deniers or uneducated and are glad because they’ll die off faster than everyone else? Nope, that would be racist. Instead Biden sends them all over the country, and if the left is correct, where they’ll infect tens of thousands of American citizens.

Libs, would you care to repeat everything you just said about conservatives and say it to illegals? Your credibility is at stake here, dont let us down.

my second and booster moderna both made me feel like crap. My dr. (A conservative who also got the shots)
Said if you feel like crap that’s good, it means the body is doing what it’s supposed to do.
So I drank water and had the shot on Friday knowing I had Saturday and Sunday off. Had some chills and joint aches, felt tired even after a long nap. But better then a week hooked up to a machine or worse.

would seem like you should be able to find a shot sooner to be over the side effects.

According to your poll it is not the republicans we need to be worried about it is the independents. Consider these 2 facts:

    1. As of 6 a.m. EDT Dec. 15, a total of 202,845,886 Americans had been fully vaccinated, or 61.1 percent of the country's population, according to the CDC's data
    2. On December 17, 2020, Gallup polling found that 31% of Americans identified as Democrats, 25% identified as Republican, and 41% as Independent.

If your poll was an accurate representation of the population it would imply that approximated 43% of Independents are vaccinated. That is over 11 points lower than republicans. By far the lowest percent.
