the problem is the misinformation is coming from places like Russia, filling social media and then some fall for it

I'm curious, do you believe in compulsory military enlistment during a time of war? For good of country?

And FB algorithms helped the bot pushers, and helped radicalize some people.

My biggest beef with covid are vaccine and mask mandates.
If those were never implemented, 90% of my covid posts would have never been created. We lived through SARS, MERS, bird flu, swine flu, Zika, Ebola (those are just from the top of my head) and none of those issues were weaponized by politicians.

FB openly taking political sides didn’t help things.
And AP disgraced themselves in my eyes when they pushed dirt on DeSantis for making Regeneron widely available to Floridians.
Now, in my eyes, FB is just entertainment for families where you purge everyone but close relatives and friends from your friend list and just post picture of your family picnic trips. AP demonstrated that they are a propaganda arm of the D party that will only push their agenda, even if their reporting results in people developing fears towards legitimate treatment of a dangerous viral disease.

I think the mask mandates are reasonable. The vaccine mandates are probably a mistake in the US.

Killing living humans who have not committed any crime nor expressed any desire to die is not a medical procedure. It is murder.

Do you apply your misapplied "my body my choice" chant to women who don't wish to undergo an invasive medical procedure against their will?

The covid jabs do no such thing. I know this by all of the vaxxed, double vaxxed, and triple vaxxed people STILL catching and spreading covid around. Elizabeth 'Pocahontas' Warren is the latest example. The NFL's "covid outbreak" is another example. Gibraltar (the British territory) is another example.

Treating one's immune system properly is a much better way to make one less likely to catch it, which makes one less likely to spread it. I have yet to catch it (or anything else) since it first became a thing. It's been many years since I've been sick with anything, EVEN THOUGH I:

** do not wear a mask.
    ** do not socially distance.
** have not been vaccinated, let alone double vaxxed, let alone boosted.
** do not wear gloves at gas stations.
** do not stand behind the plexiglass barriers at stores.
** still shake hands with people at church and such.
** still enter into large gatherings with people.
** still visit any friends/family that I wish to visit.

According to the CDC and the Biden Regime, I should be dead by now (and will most definitely either be in the hospital or dead sometime this Winter since I am "unvaccinated heathen"). I'm supposedly doing everything wrong according to "the experts" (whoever THEY are), yet I am as healthy as I have ever been and haven't been sick in numerous years.

I’m not the vaccine police. Please proceed to do whatever works for you. I’ve gotten the flu in years I have and have not taken the flu vaccine so I’m aware they aren’t magic but I still chose to take the covid vaccine. I also lived in NYC for 6 months over the summer and you can’t even dine in restaurants without vax proof

Never accused you of being and I've never seen you advocate for any such thing.

    Fine by me.

... and such government mandates are completely illegal and morally abhorrent.

It's kind of relevant. If there's a state of emergency you lose some rights pretty quickly. Country comes first, Papa.

The point of debate seems to be whether covid was a significant enough emergency to warrant XYZ. Some say yes, other seem to say no.

    It's not at all relevant.

There is no state of emergency.

    COVID is not an emergency.

As Casey alluded to, the problem is that the CIA is in the propaganda business in THIS country.

Edward Bernays was hired by the US government, not the Russian government.

To you, it WOULD seem like Russian propaganda. Our politicians tell us that everything that is wrong in the world is caused by Russia.

They never examine their own actions, and large numbers of gullible citizens are glad about that. Gullible citizens always buy into the Bogey Man ploy.

You didn't answer my question ...Do you apply that to women who want abortions?

And righties LOVE to FORCE this invasion of women's privacy AGAINST their will:

Normal, frequent or expectable temporary side effects of pregnancy:

    • exhaustion (weariness common from first weeks)
    • altered appetite and senses of taste and smell
    • nausea and vomiting (50% of women, first trimester)
    • heartburn and indigestion
    • constipation
    • weight gain
    • dizziness and light-headedness
    • bloating, swelling, fluid retention
    • hemmorhoids
    • abdominal cramps
    • yeast infections
    • congested, bloody nose
    • acne and mild skin disorders
    • skin discoloration (chloasma, face and abdomen)
    • mild to severe backache and strain
    • increased headaches
    • difficulty sleeping, and discomfort while sleeping
    • increased urination and incontinence
    • bleeding gums
    • pica
    • breast pain and discharge
    • swelling of joints, leg cramps, joint paininfection including from serious and potentially fatal disease
(pregnant women are immune suppressed compared with non-pregnant women, and are more susceptible to fungal and certain other diseases)
    • extreme pain on delivery
    • hormonal mood changes, including normal post-partum depression
    • continued post-partum exhaustion and recovery period (exacerbated if a c-section -- major surgery -- is required, sometimes taking up to a full year to fully recover)
Normal, expectable, or frequent PERMANENT side effects of pregnancy:

    • stretch marks (worse in younger women)
    • loose skin
    • permanent weight gain or redistribution
    • abdominal and vaginal muscle weakness
    • pelvic floor disorder (occurring in as many as 35% of middle-aged former child-bearers and 50% of elderly former child-bearers, associated with urinary and rectal incontinence, discomfort and reduced quality of life -- aka prolapsed utuerus, the malady sometimes badly fixed by the transvaginal mesh)
    • changes to breasts
    • increased foot size
    • varicose veins
    • scarring from episiotomy or c-section
    • other permanent aesthetic changes to the body (all of these are downplayed by women, because the culture values youth and beauty)
    • increased proclivity for hemmorhoids
    • loss of dental and bone calcium (cavities and osteoporosis)
    • higher lifetime risk of developing Altzheimer's
    • newer research indicates microchimeric cells, other bi-directional exchanges of DNA, chromosomes, and other bodily material between fetus and mother (including with "unrelated" gestational surrogates)
    Occasional complications and side effects:

    • complications of episiotomy
    • spousal/partner abuse
    • hyperemesis gravidarum
    • temporary and permanent injury to back
    • severe scarring requiring later surgery
      (especially after additional pregnancies)
    • dropped (prolapsed) uterus (especially after additional pregnancies, and other pelvic floor weaknesses -- 11% of women, including cystocele, rectocele, and enterocele)
    • pre-eclampsia (edema and hypertension, the most common complication of pregnancy, associated with eclampsia, and affecting 7 - 10% of pregnancies)
    • eclampsia (convulsions, coma during pregnancy or labor, high risk of death)
    • gestational diabetes
    • placenta previa
    • anemia (which can be life-threatening)
    • thrombocytopenic purpura
    • severe cramping
    • embolism (blood clots)
    • medical disability requiring full bed rest (frequently ordered during part of many pregnancies varying from days to months for health of either mother or baby)
    • diastasis recti, also torn abdominal muscles
    • mitral valve stenosis (most common cardiac complication)
    • serious infection and disease (e.g. increased risk of tuberculosis)
    • hormonal imbalance
    • ectopic pregnancy (risk of death)
    • broken bones (ribcage, "tail bone")
    • hemorrhage and
    • numerous other complications of delivery
    • refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease
    • aggravation of pre-pregnancy diseases and conditions (e.g. epilepsy is present in .5% of pregnant women, and the pregnancy alters drug metabolism and treatment prospects all the while it increases the number and frequency of seizures)
    • severe post-partum depression and psychosis
    • research now indicates a possible link between ovarian cancer and female fertility treatments, including "egg harvesting" from infertile women and donors
    • research also now indicates correlations between lower breast cancer survival rates and proximity in time to onset of cancer of last pregnancy
    • research also indicates a correlation between having six or more pregnancies and a risk of coronary and cardiovascular disease
    Less common (but serious) complications:

    • peripartum cardiomyopathy
    • cardiopulmonary arrest
    • magnesium toxicity
    • severe hypoxemia/acidosis
    • massive embolism
    • increased intracranial pressure, brainstem infarction
    • molar pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease
      (like a pregnancy-induced cancer)
    • malignant arrhythmia
    • circulatory collapse
    • placental abruption
    • obstetric fistula
    More permanent side effects:

    • future infertility
    • permanent disability
    • death."""""""""""""""""""

Just some things to think about from a perspective a little tongue in cheek.

The more I watch the abortion debate and how people compare it to vaccination, I’m starting to think any woman who is pregnant in circumstances we know from a plethora of studies will likely result in a child prone to violence, crime, or dependency should be coerced into having an abortion. Leveraging things like employment, ability to eat out, etc. to “encourage” abortion seems like the best path to a healthy society.

Oh, and the list made me wonder how many times your mother must have cursed herself for making the wrong decisions in life. :)

Yours did at least once for sure :)

And your idea on coercing women to have abortions may come about ...since places like Texas now own the bodies of pregnant women they can, in the future, FORCE them to abort those they deem unacceptable
