I think that there are quite a few Evangelical types whose ' fire and brimstone ' has been heavily rained upon by modernism and the realities of education in the 21st century. Recently the leader of Hamas visited Gaza and stated that Hamas will never recognize Israel's right to exist as a sovereign state and they will never stop trying to reclaim all of Israel as Palestinian territory. In sum, Hamas is not interested in a peaceful solution to the Israeli/Palestinian problem. Therefore, Israel has every right, and indeed a duty, to protect itself from Palestinian agression.

For a start, Zionists have no interest in Palestine. They are only interested in Israel.
Second, Zionists have already showed that when peace is on the line, they are willing to give up any land aspiration you can claim as compromise.
It was proved in the peace treaty with Egypt and with Jordan.
The Arabs of Palestine have failed consistently and are claiming the whole land for themselves.
But, No matter, no matter, Israelis have shown they can as long as it takes.
They have been fighting and waiting for 100 years, they can for another 100.
Some time in the future, the Arabs will gain some sense and understand how much they loose by continue to try to wipe the Israelis instead of joining forces.
