Do you think it is possible to effectively "make a wailing like the dragons" but not be "stripped naked" while doing it?

Did Noah forget to load the dragons on the ark ... or did god take them all to heaven with Jesus and the unicorns?

Does this mean that men with prostrate problems can't get into heaven?

To be the happiest should we hold the little ones by the feet or the arms when "dashing" them "against the stones"? Which method do you think will work best?

Should we interpret this to mean that when opening a brothel women shouldn't do it in their fathers house? ... How about an Uncle's house? ... A Cousin's? ... What about a Brother's house?

Taking quotes here and there from the Bible hardly means you have actually read and understood the Bible in its entirety. I seriously doubt you have read/understood the entire Holy Bible, that's why you're a non-believer.

Remember I'm the one that believes in the Bible and you're the one that doesn't believe in the Bible. Which I still can't understand when you lied about being a Christian...what was that all about?...lol

I have no trouble accepting that passage...why should I? It is you having trouble understanding what it means again remember you're the non-believer and I'm the believer here, in case you have forgotten...lol As I have said previously, God making us in His image means we have a spirit nature like Him.

It is all related to what we are talking about. I pointed out to you that the meaning of what is meant by God created us in His image means we have a spirit nature in us like Him. And what Paul says in his Corinthians writings confirms this.

Here you are a non-Christian, a non-believer of God who doesn't have one ounce of understanding the Bible is going to tell us Christians we are disingenuous, ignorant, or fools?...that is just plain ludicrousy!...lol

There are no Gods but just one God, the Trinity consisting of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

"Us" is referring to the Triune God and not multiple gods as you are wrongly suggesting.

Again let me reiterate, there are no Gods but just one God and that is the Trinity. Furthermore, mankind will not ever gain immortality. We all are subjected to die physical deaths here on earth thus our physical natural bodies will never become immortal.

But for us believers in Christ, the saved, we will oneday live forever in eternity with our Lord in His Kingdom of Heaven. We gain immortality by first acknowledging that we are sinners, then asking for forgiveness and then accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord Savior.

only males can be happy using the toddler dashing method, apparently. furthermore, if I want me some happy, I'll need to borrow a toddler from a neighbour, as my own kids are too big to hold securely by the ankles.

Sorry but your statements are just biased opinions so in other words they are simply invalid.

I have absolute faith in the God/Jesus/Holy Bible. While you being a non-believer have absolutely no faith in God/Jesus/Holy Bible.

Obviously you have failed to understand what James message was really about, perhaps this thorough explanation will clear your misunderstanding.

The question of faith alone or faith plus works is made difficult by some hard-to-reconcile Bible passages. Compare Romans 3:28, 5:1 and Galatians 3:24 with James 2:24. Some see a difference between Paul (salvation is by faith alone) and James (salvation is by faith plus works). Paul dogmatically says that justification is by faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), while James appears to be saying that justification is by faith plus works.

This apparent problem is answered by examining what exactly James is talking about. James is refuting the belief that a person can have faith without producing any good works (James 2:17-18. James is emphasizing the point that genuine faith in Christ will produce a changed life and good works (James 2:20-26). James is not saying that justification is by faith plus works, but rather that a person who is truly justified by faith will have good works in his/her life. If a person claims to be a believer, but has no good works in his/her life, then he/she likely does not have genuine faith in Christ (James 2:14, 17, 20, 26).

Paul says the same thing in his writings. The good fruit believers should have in their lives is listed in Galatians 5:22-23. Immediately after telling us that we are saved by faith, not works (Ephesians 2:8-9), Paul informs us that we were created to do good works (Ephesians 2:10). Paul expects just as much of a changed life as James does: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

James and Paul do not disagree in their teaching regarding salvation. They approach the same subject from different perspectives. Paul simply emphasized that justification is by faith alone while James put emphasis on the fact that genuine faith in Christ produces good works.

I don't know what you're talking about, there are no obstacles in my eyes that's why I'm a believer, you should examine your own eyes, eyes that belong to a non-believer clearly has to have obstacles in them.

Sorry but there is no where in Scripture where the Bible explicitly tells us the Great Flood happened roughly between 2100 and 2300 BC. Did you say something about Bible ignorance?...lol

As I have mentioned there are biblical scholars who say the Great Flood happened 5,000 BC, it is not me saying that but it is biblical scholars who are saying that. And so are you suggesting you are more qualified than they are in determining when the Great Flood happened?

Most Biblical scholars don't believe the Great Flood as described in the Bible ever occurred. The only True bible scholar is the one that studies with an open mind. To many 'study' with closed minds - like yourself.

The Bible may not explicitly say the date of the supposed great flood, but if you take the time and effort following the ages of the descendants of Noah to Abraham it implies the dates given. Or is this one of the non-literal parts of the Bible?

I have done exactly that and it is the reason I have come to the rational conclusion that this book is not to be believed! It is you apparently that have not read it from cover to cover as I have.

If anyone reads it cover to cover and has an IQ level above that of a fifth grader they would come to the same conclusion ... it's just a bunch of mythology, mixed with the occasional fairy tale, interwoven with some disgusting horror stories.

Creationists had to move the date of the Flood "back"...when they couldn't find any evidence that the Great Pyramids of Khufu had been built earlier and no evidence that they had "suffered any water damage from being covered with water". :)

This, despite the fact, that (as you note) if you take the ages given in years of Noah's descendents to Abraham, they "come up short" on the number of years to the dates linked to other events in the Bible.

Rather than address anything in my post you spend most of the time crying "your not a believer your not a believer"

Believer in what ? Most of Christianity does not have the same beliefs as you so that makes you a "non believer" as well.

Genesis states clearly that it is "Gods". You can stand on your soapbox and cry out "NO NO NO" but that does change what scripture actually says.

My statements are base on Scripture and your statements are what ever you make up at the time.

Your comments on James are a good example although some apologist made this stuff up for you.

You have faith in your man made Dogma.

You have not searched for the truth as blind acceptance is your rule.

What did I fail to understand ? Please Enlighten me.

That is what James "is" saying with the emphasis on works. And yes .. this seems to contradict Paul in some places
but if you read Romans Paul seems to be saying something else at times.

No he isn't. Where does he do this. What James states quite clearly is that Faith without works is useless an he repeats this 3 times so even the slow ones would get it.

This is abject nonsense. James clearly states that Justification is through works as does Jesus.

James does not say "works without faith" is useless. He says 3 times "Faith without works is useless"

He calls people that believe in faith alone "Foolish" and says " Even demons believe in one God"

I know what Paul says and on this point he is in contradiction with James and Jesus.

The Christian Church never believed in the "faith alone" doctrine for the first 1400 years of its existence and most of the Church (Orthodox and Catholic) still do not believe this.

Protestants created this doctrine when they formed a new Church.

There is no need to debate which side is wright or wrong. What is 100% clear is that the reason there is such a debate, in fact the Church is split over this question, is because of the contradiction.

There are like 0.0000001 % of "biblical scholar my backside" that make this claim. If you search hard enough you can find someone claiming the most ridiculous things.

Almost all scholars put Abraham from 1800 BC to 2100 BC and I gave you reams of support for this. Even your own links claim this. No one that I have every heard of put Abraham at 4700 BC.

Please provide your source for this.

ABRAHAM, if he existed, at 4700BCE? That means we are living in circa 1000 BCE. Must check my stone diary. Ah yes. 2 days time - dinner party with King David in his Palace in Jerusalem. Must get a present for Prince Solomon's birthday and a bunch of desert Orchids for Bathsheba.
Chance too, to see the plans for new temple Solomon will build.
Reminder. Take ear plugs. David is a good harpist and will certainly expect to play after the party. Can't stand Jewish harps.

Ah well, the journey will be worth it. If only the CCA (Canaan Chariot Association) had brought out route maps to give the safest and quickest route. Those Canaanite foothills are full of bandits, as a certain Jew will find out in a 1000 years time.

Although Adam and Eve existed in a perfect state that did not deprive Adam and Eve of free will.

Genesis 3:4-5 tells us that the serpent firstly modified God's Word by promising Eve that by taking of the forbidden fruit she would not surely die.

Second, he enticed her with the promise of knowledge (knowing good and evil) and will be just like God.

So you could say that Eve was led into believing that the serpent was showing her a "fast-track" way to become closer to God and be just like God.

But as it turned out, they drew further away from God, separated from Him, because of disobeying Him and bringing sin into the world with the knowledge of knowing both good and evil because of eating the forbidden fruit that God told them not to eat.

And so here we are every single last one of us are...sinners and destined to die!

But wait!..there is still hope for us...God has not abandoned us. He has given us a way to redeem ourselves, He has given us a Savior in Jesus Christ our Lord, in that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting eternal life in heaven. (John 3:16)

Well it's rather very obvious, it's because the pyramids were built after the Great Flood.

You are forgetting there is a lot of water underground or subteranean. Besides raining for 40 days and 40 nights Scripture tells us,

"In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the floodgates of the sky were opened. The rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights."---Genesis 7:11-12 NASB
