Yes, for over ten years General Motors kept selling cars they knew were defective and caused deaths.
One problem was the ignition would shut off....sending the cars crashing with no control or airbags.
They said it was because the key rings were too heavy and so far they think it can be "fixed" by telling drivers to "have lighter key rings". !!

If it was done deliberately then they are probably atheists. Yanno, people find atheists about as trustworthy as rapists.

    Thanks.

Several companies over the past few years have refused to recognise faults in their cars until lives start getting lost. :frown:
You probably haven't seen the Merc. 'Smart' car over there. Small two seater town car with a glass roof. When it first came out the roof used to shatter when you were driving along. Inconvenient at 70 mph. ooops you have kmh - er about 70. My friend had one for about town and it happened to him. He said when it went he had a sudden thought they may have put an ejector seat in without telling anyone.

LOL!... Hey maybe no roof and an ejector seat would save lives!?
If corporations refuse to make safe cars because they don't care how many people they murder they should give the driver an easy way out ...:)

Why not. I know a large firm with only atheist employees locally. A. Large and Sons, plumbers. Father and 2 sons.

To be honest I've never seen Doc Marten. I only watch SciFi (like the Bible ooops), detective series like NCIS or our British versions, and Footie. At this time of year I've got 2000 plants in my green houses to look after.

I saw it instantly. One must need the view from outside to see it. Kinda like can't see the forest through the trees.

You follow "made up" doctrine and worship it like a God. Evangelicalism/Pentecostalism are full of made up doctrine.

You blubber on about "made in Gods spirit" because you can not handle the truth of what scripture actually says. "Made in Gods Image" meant exactly that. Go read the book in a translated version you can understand.

We are made in the likeness of the Gods. And the plural means "Gods" Anyone who says " oh oh ... "US" means the trinity" is a either being disingenuous, is ignorant or a fool.

Man was given the knowledge of the Gods ... would he gain immortality he would be even more like the Gods.

Well OURS is the language God gave Adam in the garden of Eden. Unfortunately when Eve came along Adam tried to teach her the alphabet but she couldn't take it in, and things went downhill from there. We British rediscovered the real language and have used it ever since. You'll find the whole story in Genesis 51.

    BUT DON'T TELL MITT.

Apparently there are questions TOO TOUGH to get an answer to.

or actually he's scared. He has two choices....only two (if he's honest, I mean)-

    1. "No, I would not have killed children and babies in the war between the Hebrews and Amalekites.".....which makes him a moral person, but puts him DIRECT contradiction to an ORDER from God. 1 Samuel 15:3 There is no "moral exemption" in that declaration. So, MR would have to say he would have ...."gone against God".

or 2. "Yes, I would have killed children and babies in the war between the Hebrews and Amalekites".....which makes him a monster in the eyes of 99% of people, Christian, Jew, or non-believer. And further paints his "loving and merciful" God as one.....

for remember? Not only is God showing Himself to be a genoicidal madman in 1 Samuel....He's ordering people to carry out His genocide, and if they refused? They become "damned" for disobeying God. So as cruel as He was to the "enemy"...He's not that much nicer to his "chosen people", especially those (few though there may have been) who thought INFANTICIDE was morally wrong....even when God orders it.

No, it's not speculation it is coming from the Bible. Perhaps if you read the Bible you might learn something but I know guys like you loathe anything to do with the Bible so you will not read and learn anything, that's why I'm here to help inform you.

Lastly what happens to our bodies after we die is not me speculating, it is also coming from the Bible. If you read the Bible you will learn that the unsaved will face judgment from God and then be punished for their sins. While the saved will be spared any punishment but will live in everlasting eternal bliss with God in His Kingdom of Heaven, we will be in our new spiritual glorified bodies.

While the Bible doesn't describe in detail the glorified bodies we will receive in heaven, we know that they will be like that of Jesus' resurrected body.

Our human bodies are described in 1 Corinthians 15:42-53 as perishable, dishonorable and weak, all the results of sin.

"It is the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength. They are buried as natural human bodies, but they will be raised as spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, there are also spiritual bodies.

The Scriptures tell us, “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam—that is, Christ—is a life-giving Spirit. What comes first is the natural body, then the spiritual body comes later. Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven. Earthly people are like the earthly man, and heavenly people are like the heavenly man. Just as we are now like the earthly man, we will someday be like the heavenly man.

What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.

But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies."---1 Corinthians 15:42-53 NLT

Our glorified bodies will be imperishable, honorable and powerful. Our new bodies will be no longer "natural" bodies, but "spiritual" bodies, no longer focused upon the natural senses but at one with the Holy Spirit.

    what is a 'glorified body'?
    what is a 'spiritual body'?
and what does 'at one with the holy spirit' mean, exactly?

could you explain these concepts in clear and practical terms, please.
