You painfully need to brush up on your history and grammar. Look up the Galileo affair which was a sequence of events, beginning around 1610, during which Galileo Galilei came into conflict with the Catholic Church, for his support of Copernican astronomy, and secular philosophers, and for his criticism of the Doctrines of Catholicism.
The church's inquisition imprisoned him for the idea that the Sun is stationary is "foolish and absurd in philosophy, and formally heretical since it explicitly contradicts in many places the sense of Holy Scripture..."; while the Earth's movement "receives the same judgement in philosophy and ... in regard to theological truth it is at least erroneous in faith." The original report document was made widely available in 2014.
At a meeting of the cardinals of the Inquisition on the following day, Pope Paul V instructed Bellarmine to deliver this result to Galileo, and to order him to abandon the Copernican opinions; should Galileo resist the decree, stronger action would be taken. On February 26, Galileo was called to Bellarmine's residence and ordered,
"to abstain completely from teaching or defending this doctrine and opinion or from discussing it... to abandon completely... the opinion that the sun stands still at the center and the earth moves, and henceforth not to hold, teach, or defend it in any way whatever, either orally or in writing." -The Inquisition's injunction against Galileo, 1616.
The Index Librorum Prohibitorum, a list of books banned by the Catholic Church. Following the Inquisition's 1616 judgment, the works of Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler and others advocating heliocentrism were banned.
With no attractive alternatives, Galileo accepted the orders delivered, even sterner than those recommended by the Pope. Galileo met again with Bellarmine, apparently on friendly terms; and on March 11 he met with the Pope, who assured him that he was safe from persecution so long as he, the Pope, should live. Nonetheless, Galileo's friends Sagredo and Castelli reported that there were rumors that Galileo had been forced to recant and do penance. To protect his good name, Galileo requested a letter from Bellarmine stating the truth of the matter. This letter assumed great importance in 1633, as did the question whether Galileo had been ordered not to "hold or defend" Copernican ideas (which would have allowed their hypothetical treatment) or not to teach them in any way. If the Inquisition had issued the order not to teach heliocentrism at all, it would have been ignoring Bellarmine's position.
In the end, Galileo did not persuade the Church to stay out of the controversy, but instead saw heliocentrism formally declared false. It was consequently termed heretical by the Qualifiers, since it contradicted the literal meaning of the Scriptures.
The church persecuted him and forced him to denounce his beliefs you cannot deny this so please stop trying, you are sounding foolish.

I don't know what "Happy Funtime Christian History Book" you get your information from but it is so disgustingly wrong you actually make me embarrassed that you are a Canadian on this forum. It's kind of scary how you are so insanely blinded by your belief system that some preacher told you these events were good for humanity and you actually believed him. I feel sorry for your potential children,

BS, big time BS. One of you contributors to this thread, for which you like many of his posts. Clearly states Jesus is NOT God. And you've never even typed a letter about that statement. Yet like many of his posts and he likes many of yours. So NO WAY is there one truth, else you'd have the discussion about Jesus is or is NOT God. So don't post hypocritical posts.
So by your lack of communication, you give the whole thread the impression that there is more than 1 truth, more than 1 way to salvation, more than 1 god. There a 100's of differing versions of christianity. 1000's of version of christians.

Wow, he gave is SON, not himself. So, jesus is NOT God, but god's son. These threads have been misleading.

Another example of jesus being the son, and god the father. Wow, you are on a roll.

So as we can see from just those 2 passages, there is multiple ways to god for believers. One's who think jesus is NOT god, as jesus clearly states in you passages, and those who think jesus is god. As clearly in NOT stated in your passages. Then there are a good many God of Abraham believers who don't believe jesus is the christ. Well now, just which of the religions have it right. Clearly, you and one of your compatriots can't even agree on if jesus is god or not. Talk about giving out BS.

Now the question becomes, are you believing the BS you've been led to believe or can you open your mind up to the fact you may have been lied to. Or only have part of the information and have been totally misinterpreting everything you read.
But as you so clearly have shown us, one can clearly believe what they want. As I have stated, one of your best buddies in this thread doesn't even believe jesus is god. And you have not 1 time asked for clarification. So don't give us the high and mighty, it is only as you think it is. Your actions state otherwise.

Be patient. You have to wait your turn. It will be about 1.5 yrs before you will get an answer from the thread starter.

Huh?...is there such a word as "languaee"? I'm going to assume you are asking what language does God speak... He speaks all languages.

God created everything that exists except for evil. We humans are responsible for all the evil that exist in this world. We humans are sinful beings and we freely choose to do what is evil/sinful.

God also created the angels but He did not create Satan/devil who was an angel in heaven to be evil. Satan chose that path on his own and so did the other angels who followed their buddy Satan.

All evil is a result of being disobedient to our righteous, holy, perfect, Almighty God the Creator!

You've been shown this verse at least a dozen time, but alas:
    King James Bible
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

God created everything. Including evil. Quit being disingenuous. Especially when you think every word of the bible is 100% inerrant inspired word of god.

This is a classic example of someone misinterpreting the Holy Bible. It is very easy to do when a person hasn't fully read the entire Holy Bible to understand what God is really about and so when you take any particular verse from the Bible it can easily be misinterpreted. You just can't take everything you read literally in the Holy Bible. Let me explain this particular verse from Isaiah to explain what the verse is really saying to the reader.

Isaiah 45:7 in the King James Version does read, "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."

How does Isaiah 45:7 agree with the view that God did not create evil? There are two key facts that need to be considered. (1) The word translated "evil" is from a Hebrew word that means "adversity, affliction, calamity, distress, misery." Notice how the other major English Bible translations render the word: "disaster" (NIV, HCSB), "calamity" (NKJV, NAS, ESV), and "woe" (NRSV).

The Hebrew word can refer to moral evil, and often does have this meaning in the Hebrew Scriptures. However, due to the diversity of possible definitions, it is unwise to assume that "I create evil" in Isaiah 45:7 refers to God bringing moral evil into existence.

(2)The context of Isaiah 45:7 makes it clear that something other than "bringing moral evil into existence" is in mind.

The context of Isaiah 45:7 is God rewarding Israel for obedience and punishing Israel for disobedience.

God pours out salvation and blessings on those whom He favors. God brings judgment on those who continue to rebel against Him.

"Woe to him who quarrels with his Master" (Isaiah 45:9). That is the person to whom God brings "evil" and "disaster."

So, rather than saying that God created "moral evil,"Isaiah 45:7 is presenting a common theme of Scripture – that God brings disaster on those who continue in hard-hearted rebellion against Him.

In summary God is not the author of evil and so He did not create evil. All human miseries are a result of sin.

God brings disaster. God created that disaster. Whether you want to call it evil, moral evil, or punishment. God created it.

Nope, sorry but the person who commits the sin creates that disaster, their disobedience to God is what brings the disaster on them.

It is quite simple...no sin...no disaster. In other words a person creates their own evil/disaster, you can't blame God for that. Everyone is responsible for their own actions.

Definitely the Bible need proper interpretation or else we'll have all sorts of misinterpretation for it to be understood literally one has to understand the Words in the Bible. People who understood Noah or Exodus etc. as a myth is the very reason why we need proper interpretation because they have failed to understand the Bible. That is why God instructed Moses to write everything down so that future people will know the same thing why Gen. Eisenhower “Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.” Eisenhower was correct today we have many holocaust deniers :(

Through God the donkey talk not by itself God use the donkey as a medium to communicate with Balaam. Today because humans are created in the image of God we have learn to create things we have created devices that would allow us to use it as medium of wireless communication. A scientist and technician can now insert or install a device on a donkey and with that device speak through it as if the donkey is talking does this mean the donkey is really created with the ability to talk like humans? No. Today with human creative abilities we are now able to decipher certain creatures communication means such as dolphins and whales.

God spoke to Moses in the appearance of a burning bush and God used the donkey to communicate with Balaam the Bible did not erred on this.

God created the ass or donkey and God use the donkey as a medium to communicate with Balaam.
Is there something wrong with a donkey?

I know that English is your native language but it is not the language it is the education that matters. In as much as you are so much against Galileo and the church that no amount of history can change your mind I guess I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Without the church's protection Galileo's research materials and life would have end up in the hands of his enemies and that it would have been destroyed you seem to skip although you did mention that Galileo tried to persuade the Church to stay out of the controversy, a controversy that his enemies wanted the church to get involved a position that the church has no choice but to take it on to save Galileo from his enemies. In the end the church did the right thing Galileo's research materials were kept safe and later were officially published and the church recognize and declared Galileo as father of modern science while his and enemies of the church rejected the church's position.

His “imprisonment” during and after the trial is hardly deserving of the name. “He himself declares, in a letter dated 1634, that he suffered nothing, either in his person or his honor.” [23] He was detained in luxurious palaces and given excellent treatment. He says, “As to my health, I am well, thanks to God and to the exquisite attentions of the Ambassador and his lady, who are most anxious to procure for me the greatest comfort.” [24] At the palace of the Ambassador, he was permitted to come and go as he pleased and receive visits from his friends. After his condemnation, he spent the remainder of his life in his villa at Arcetri, near Florence, “where he continued his scientific studies and received the visits of the learned and of the great personages of his time. He received a life-pension from the Papal treasury, and died, as he had lived, a very religious man, in the year 1642.” [25]

It is evident from all this that the case of Galileo has been badly misrepresented by those bent on attacking the Catholic Church. Although the Holy Office erred in condemning the theory as heretical, it was in no way due to hatred of science. The eleven consultors merely wished to protect the Scriptures from new interpretations which were based on unproven scientific theories. They were justified in believing such arbitrary interpretations to be dangerous, especially at a time when Protestants were perpetrating the most grievous outrages against the Bible by changing and deleting passages and even whole books just to make it fit their own whims. Many of the clergy, even those who were opposed to the theory, treated Galileo with respect and great kindness. If he had returned this consideration instead of bitterly attacking them, he would have had no trouble with the Holy Office.

In spite of his critical attitude toward his opponents, Galileo found no reason to reject his Catholic Faith. He remained Catholic to his death. His two daughters became nuns, and his body now lies in the Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence, marked with a magnificent monument.

If the Catholic Church were the enemy of true science, certainly there would be many examples over the past 2000 years to prove it. Why do her enemies constantly harp on this one occasion? No doubt it is because it is the only one they can find. Yet we have shown that even this one occasion proves nothing. The Holy Office is not infallible. Galileo’s case is rather a proof of God’s protection over the Church since, at a time when the majority of people in the world, Catholic, Protestant and atheist, opposed Galileo, the Church did not condemn his teaching in any document protected by infallibility. Pope Pius XII, in an address to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, listed Copernicus, Galileo, and Kepler, among others, as “famous and distinguished investigators of the physical world that surrounds us.”

You have the films, the books and witnesses that confirm Abraham, Moses, the Exodus? I think not. You have a story written LONG (centuries) after the events.

Moses didn't write the first five books of the Old Testament. The books were written 800 years after Moses who probably exists as a literary device..

There's no way to conflate this morality tale with General Eisenhower's words on liberating the concentration camps.

There is also NO evidence for Exodus.. and its ridiculous that Moses never knew the name of the Pharaoh in the story.

    Its definitely a myth.

Nope sorry, wrong yet again. At some point something(god) had to create the disaster/evil/punishment to be doled out. It didn't manifest itself out of thin air because of sin. According to the religious.
And your book, 100% inerrant and inspired according to you, clearly states, God created everything. Good, evil/disaster/punishment. Take your pick.

No one is going to create a hurricane to punish themselves, that would be so silly.

The Holocaust is no propaganda ironically you consider it a propaganda this is the more reason why Eisenhower was right and also why the Bible was written down it is to refute all the deniers and present facts, historicity and truth as it is "Gen. Eisenhower “Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.”

Only the extreme of the extreme believe that the moon is a cube just like they will always deny everything that is truth.

Eisenhower was very lucky WWII was a time when films and photos are not more available and in spite of all the films. photos, reports, casualties and eye witnesses accounts there are still many deniers. 4000-1000 years ago there exist no film, no modern photography only eye witness accounts and writers writing down everything possible and keeping them safe against those who are against truth and today their history, their accounts are now able to be made into films. To deny the reality of Abraham, Moses or the Exodus is to deny that Egypt, Plato, Spartans, Persians, Assyrian ever existed.
