Part 22 is a continuation of Post your tough questions pertaining to God/Jesus/Holy Bible and I will do my best to clarify and make sense of it to those who are unaware...I still have questions and comments I haven't responded to in Part 6 thru 21.

Also I might answer questions that are on other members threads and so this will keep me real busy with the many questions that I will answer from my point of view/perspective keeping in line with Scripture.

I don't want my intentions to come across as converting you or whatever lol... but rather clear up things etc... so ask away.

Do "righteous" (to be clear) Jews go to Heaven or Hell?

What do you mean by "righteous" Jews? Are you referring to Messianic Jews who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord Savior?

The Holy Bible makes it very clear that salvation comes from accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord Savior!

This is basically the Christian doctrine/belief. One cannot achieve salvation on their own by their good deeds. Since we are all sinners, we are all in need of a Savior and that Savior is non other than our Lord Jesus Christ who paid the sin debt payment for us by shedding His innocent sinless blood on the cross.

No, I am referring to observant Jews who do not believe Jesus was the Messiah, but keep to the Torah....such as those who form Judaism across the world and in Israel..

    Do they go to Hell?

Check with the One who will make that judgment call... which by the way is not a mortal man.

Contrary to what so-called Christians might say, we can't make that decision - GOD does.

And you consider anyone who does not believe Jesus Christ is God is a Christians this would mean Muslims are Christians wow! never knew that Muslims are Christians.
Does this mean that the rest of the agnostics and atheist who agree that Christians are those who worship Christ are imbeciles?

The very opening verse of the NT reveals this:
"Mat 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham."

Then Matthew states the following: "Mat 16:20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ."

Notice the insertion of the word "the". That inclusion shows a distinction between who Jesus is and 'the Christ'. That inclusion made by the same author of the very first verse was likely a correction that was required by Jesus to show the first distinction made between Jesus (the man) and "the Christ" which was/is the Messiah.
Do a refresher study on the use of the word "the" when it is used before a 'noun'. See here: www.tfd.com/the

    They really have their reasons.

You're a guy that finds lots of things ridiculous Fly..lol

Getting back to the Ark, first off let me make a correction...the Ark rested on the mountains of Ararat...not Arat.

Just imagine if there was indeed a verified discovery of the Ark it would likely cause many open-minded skeptics to perhaps re-evaluate their beliefs, but for any close-minded critic and hardened atheist, the discovery wouldn't make one bit of a difference...that's where you come in Flyflicker.

Scripture tells us, "The god who rules this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers. They cannot see the light, which is the good news about our glorious Christ, who shows what God is like. ---2 Cor. 4:4 CEV

Note: "the god who rules this world" is of course referring to the "father of lies" Satan himself.

But you know for the believers it wouldn't matter if Noah's Ark is never discovered, it's because the Christian faith is not built on every biblical account being conclusively proven. Christian faith is built on faith.

Scripture tells us, "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. (John 20:29)

The reality though is that the Ark will never be discovered, because of two valid explanations. The first is that it is conceivable that after the flood Noah and his family had used the wood for other purposes, they could have used it to build homes for themselves.

Second, even if Noah and his family left the Ark intact, the Ark would have decomposed into nothing after all those years having gone by. We're talking about an event that happened 5 to 7 thousand years ago.

Any archaeological find would be powerful but it will never be something Christians should place their faith in. It will not prove the Christian faith nor will it change the mind of anyone (non-believers) whom God is not drawing.

Scripture tells us, "For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up."---John 6:44 NLT

I agree with your first statement because of two valid explanations, the first is that it is conceivable that after the flood Noah and his family had used the wood for other purposes, they could have used it to build homes for themselves.

Second, even if Noah and his family left the Ark intact, the Ark would have decomposed into nothing after all those years having gone by. We're talking about an event that happened 5 to 7 thousand years ago.

But I disagree that the story is a myth borrowed from Sumer. Skeptics want to imagine that there was, in fact, no flood and that the Bible's flood account was borrowed. The evidence seems to suggest otherwise: there was, in fact, a catastrophic worldwide deluge, and the veracity of the biblical account is attested to by numerous other similar ancient accounts.

So now we know how stupid it can be not to know that Muslims and Mormons are not Christians. Now back to the topic at hand Mormons are not Christians because they do not worship Christ they use Christ to deceived their followers making them think that they worship Christ by interrelating God and Christ that is why there are many Mormons including you that think they are Christians.

One thing for sure we Christians believe in the existence of heaven and hell, the Bible and God while atheist don't therefore how would they know if Jews will go to heaven or hell?
Jesus said "Today you will be with me in paradise" "Father forgive them for they do not know what they do".

I don't believe the Ark exist anymore most likely due to decomposition but another explanation could have been Noah and his family used the wood for other purposes such as building homes for themselves. They certainly didn't need it as a boat anymore.

The Turks are predominantly Muslims and Muslims do believe in the Torah, which means they believe in the Flood story. And so to them the Flood story is not a myth.

Sorry but I find your statements incoherent...what do you mean by..."Or you believe it; difference but no distinction"

Just because geologists can't find the "flood" it doesn't mean the flood never happened. We are talking about an event that happened 5 to 7 thousand years ago sonny boy!

Furthermore the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

I have absolute faith and trust in Almighty God moreso than any geologists in the world who can't find the "flood"

Almighty God the Creator of the universe told us that He flooded the entire earth and so I'm going to believe His Word before I believe geologists or anyone else for that matter who tells me there was no flood.

Let's not forget God is omniscient...He knows everything! Do geologists know everything?...no need to answer.

The myth of Sumer was a tale taken from a flood or floods on the Euphrates river. It was never a world wide flood.

Isn't the world supposed to be just 6 thousand years old? So how did the flood happen before the world was created?

Archeologists have excavated ancient cities and towns in Turkey, Arabia, Egypt, Canaan and Palestine.. some date to 11,000 years ago.. There is NO flood footprint.

Now Margot... I am certain that you have knowledge of the requirements of 'proof'... so why are you setting yourself up by making such a positive assertion as you have done in the above statement? "proof" = evidence or argument that compels the mind to accept the assertion as true. Why do you keep pretending to KNOW something that you have no proof which will meet the requirements of the definition of 'proof'? With all the arguments and alleged evidence that has been presented on this forum, not one person has presented anything that even remotely comes close to compelling my mind to accept those offerings (arguments and evidence)as 'true', which speak against the story of the world wide flood .

    There is plenty of proof.

    A flood footprint.

    A king's list.

Cuneiform tablets relating the story that predate Genesis by 1,000 years.

They know this small kingdom on the Euphrates and how they earned their living.. They also know WHO they traded with..

Since "proof" is your immediate concern... prove Noah's Ark and a worldwide flood.

It is only my opinion but if someone offered the Christian posters on here absolute, positive and undeniable proof there was no Biblical flood, they would still insist there was, and offer some excuse for not believing.

I think your opinion is valid.

To me.. demanding that people believe the fantastic mythos is detrimental to faith.. I would prefer that people actually study the message in the stories and perhaps the history of the times.. and the politics of the times..
