If I were to compare the President's academic and intellectual acumen, to that which you are exhibiting in your commentary... I'm pretty sure that he would not be the one selected to win the label, "moron".

Mrs. Palin would have been good for America as President? (I think the VAST MAJORITY of Americans know better, by now.)

Our economy would be thriving without the parasites, and with Republicans probably in perennial control of the land, evil things like homosexuality and abortion would at least severely curtailed, if not outright stopped completely.

 

So, we have yet to see one conservative here say they see anything wrong with grouping an entire race as being dumb and lazy.

I am only conservative if you mean an individual who believes that liberty is best preserved by limiting governments with written constitutions.

I do not believe that you are conservative in that sense of the term. I believe that you long for a big government that can right every perceived wrong, real or imagined. And of course, a government that will take much from some (those who produce wealth) to give to others (those who do not produce wealth).

As a manager who has hired many people over the last eight years I always looked for the best person among those who were available to fill each of our positions. Every person, whether black or white, was the best available. Everyone knows it. Blacks as well as whites. We actually like each other. Imagine that. Meritocracy works.

 

YOU are truly being a blessing, for pointing that out!!

I'm serious about this as I can be. You are informing my views on many things tonight (though you may not realize it, from where you're sitting).

 

You got it the opposite. The reason we are so powerful IS our diversity. We let everyone participate. Even our Middle East enemies still don't get why we kick ass. We let all races participate in our society. We let women participate. And they aren't ever going to catch up with us until they stop being racist, sectarian, and shutting their women in the back room. One of the major things preventing the US from our full potential is the few people here that we have that still don't realize this power of diversity, which is racism.

 

Maybe it is. Eliminate all welfare programs that replace a father in the home with a welfare check from the government.
