Perhaps you missed all the murders, cross-burning, police brutality, and demonstrations during that time. However, it's all on archive video and in history books; it's not too late to become informed. I wouldn't consider the US to be "at its peak" with all that crap going on, but maybe I have different measures of what I consider the "peak" of societies.

 

A child with a mother and a father living together will do far better than the child whose mother has to do the best she can with no husband and a welfare check that says the government is always there for the ones who vote for Democrats.

Still, in general, have both a mother and a father.

Destroy the welfare system the democrats have devised to keep you poor and damaged.

Believe in liberty. Believe in yourself. Let fathers marry the mothers. Finish high school. Marry. Then procreate. The means to reduce if not to eliminate poverty is simple.

Why don't you want to see that your democratic masters are laughing at you? They break up the black homes (and more and more the white homes too) and replace the present father with the welfare check.

Clear up the criminal justice system. Stop the war on drugs. All it does is incarcerate young black and brown men (whites use drugs more, but are incarcerated FAR less).

Marriage is irrelevant.

Marriage is not required to raise a child. Yes, it is ideal... However, unmarried parents cannot be collectively deemed as failures.

OK, perhaps I misspoke. I know London is the most diverse city on the planet, so that is why I made the comment.

 

Those factors that affect European standard of living are complicated. Of course Europe is doing quite well. I would hope so, the US has invested a lot of resources and effort since WWII to make it so. Delete the US out of the equation, and I'm not so sure a lot of the countries you mention do so well. Europe's stats in standard of living are inflated, because we know without the US, those Soviet troops wouldn't have just sat there! Things would have been much different in Europe. And there are more factors than this to explain why Europe does well.

 

Then move somewhere with more white people.

 

The answer to the OP's question is "Black America".

 

This is a very honest and accurate answer. Many in the black community, especially among those successful, will AGREE with this statement. HOWEVER, the answer to the OP's question is not exclusively black America. Black America, White ignorance, the criminal justice system, and a tumultuous history are collectively holding Black America back. ALL are to blame.

I can only speak for myself. I am not against his theory because it is true.

With that being said, black people are mostly responsible for their own problems. Some of it is due to laziness, but some of it is also due to plain ignorance that stems from being poor every generation.

Disparate outcomes says the gap is due to racism, not their own problems. The solution Holder wants is to legally force equal outcomes.

Another big part of the problem is that black women pump out a half-dozen kids when they can barely afford one. I know birth control is easy to get, I certainly would not mind spending public money on that.

There are white women who have a half-dozen children. Furthermore, there are white women that are teenage mothers. Hell, they even made a TV show glorifying it (Teen Mom.. which features predominately WHITE women).

Therefore, your blanket statement of black women is inaccurate and incredibly offensive to the 25% of black children whom were born to wedded parents. Yours truly was one of them.

 

Sigh...yet again, let's ask your exact same question in 1865. Did blacks contribute to society as much as whites in 1865. Well it doesn't take a genius to answer that, no. Why didn't they then? Do blacks today contribute to society more than whites? I'm not sure; I don't take the time to try and find ways they underperform. But if they don't, then you are going to have to explain the reasons, and how those reasons have changed since 1865. Because the reasons then were obvious, they had no property, culture, history, or respect. Because whites took it. What has changed since then?
