    Hahahahaha you conservatives kill me!

You are some how trying to accuse me, a liberal black man, that the problems in my OWN FAMILY are because of ME being racist against them?

    Run along now please.

You do realize don't you, that racial quotas used for admission to public universities have been illegal since 1978?

Where the hell did you get this idea?!?!

Black Leadership doesn't deny blacks a dream of the middle class!!

What do you define as black leadership? Do you even know what it means or are you just regurgitating some crap you heard from other racist white folks?

Um . . . are you certain you were replying to what unifer actually posted?
I somehow can't get from Unifier's ". . . stop treating Black people as if they were incompetent little children . . ." to a logic connection in your reply of, " . . . You are some how trying to accuse me, a liberal black man, that the problems in my OWN FAMILY are because of ME being racist against them?"

Where specifically in that exact posting was Unifier accusing you of racism?

False equivalence. Sharpton and Jackson couldn't hold the jocks of either of those men; both would call them the race-baiting scum that they are.

    Ohhh brother.

Immigrant blacks outperform American blacks AND American whites. Your point was?

The fact that you consider Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson "professional blacks" kills your argument right there. How about you go and actually attend a professional black networking mixer and ask them what they are doing in their communities... it will blow your misconception out of the water.

You have proven to be ignorant. Your credibility is gone. You cannot even define professional black.

Herman Cain and Allen West, exactly.

How are Jesse and Al a representation of "professional blacks?" LOL! You lost all of us right there. See you show your true colors. If Jesse and Al are your only perception of successful blacks, you need to get out more. Once you have done that, return to this thread with some more meaningful discussion.

    How?

Yes, she is wrong. Did Barack Obama commit a crime? Sure didn't. Furthermore, how is it the president's responsibility to control a racist white person's thoughts?

Thank you for championing prejudice, sir. Run along now.

    Strawman.

So because Obama is a successful black man not from the inner city, his efforts are invalidated? Right. I see where you are going.

What "special" opportunity made him Cum Laude at Harvard?

You should take that up with them, not the Black community.

You have a problem with Jesse and Al and use it to justify your racism. Sorry sir that doesn't fly.

One of the largest problems in black culture is mature black men equating scumbags like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton with Medger Evers and Martin Luther King, Jr. Until you can face the true nature of JJ and AS - and see them for what they are (which is diametrically opposed to the intent of MLK and ME), the black culture is doomed.

You are their leaders. So LEAD.

Every angry conservative white male on this forum seems to think it is still legal. Perhaps they should "lift themselves up" instead of complaining.

Good God. You see as much about black kids excelling as you any other kids. WTF would you need to pat on the head those who succeed in order to condemn those who are screwing up? Any idiot understands the epidemic concentration of crime and unemployment in the black community, and Obama has made it WORSE.

You. You need to adopt the attitudes of Frank Grimes and others like him in order to fix the problems in the black community. Let's start with this: have you mentored any troubled youth? Have you stood up in church and said that it's high time that the black community stop blaming its ills on outside influences, and rolled up their sleeves? It's rather shameful to accusingly ask Frank if he's mentored youth if you haven't.

He can condemn the message in so much of it. The message that cements the dysfunctional behaviour in the black community. I see you're obviously aware of it.

It's merely sufficient that Obama is black, but carries no other responsibility? That right?

I think you don't want problems in the black community fixed.

The average inner city black teenager has no idea who JJ&AS actually are.

    More conservative ignorance.

No, you are just proving you are racist.

Somehow problems in the black community are more Obama's responsibility than any other president?

Obama doesn't need to say anything about hip hop. I find it ironic that the same conservatives pushing less government overreach are promoting the president condemning things like what musical preference a black teenager may have. Get real.

Imo, JJ and AS have little to zero influence in the hoods, where the problems are. The black folks I talk to don't give a crap about what those 2 men are doing.

Please show me a black man claiming AS and JJ as their leaders?

The black community, especially the rough parts.. don't give a crap about either of those two.

    - - - Updated - - -

Obama's responsibility in the black community is no different than any other president.

I want the black community fixed. I'm sick of seeing racist conservative minions condemning the black community but not doing a thing to help ANY of the problems that exist within it. If you truly care, go volunteer your time to mentor a young black kid. Change his life.. give him some one to look up to. If you don't, shut up and keep it moving.

I wasn't even reading your posts and thinking the same thing! Those 2 men are not the problem. I'm not totally sure what it is, but it's not them. People in the hoods don't trust the system. How can we help them trust it? I think we need a total redesign of police tactics and accountability for one. The stats speak for themselves. People in the justice system are being racist. That is definitely part of the problem, but for sure not all of it.

I figured as much that we would get the usually racist babble with nothing to back it up. Par for the course.

Wasn't alive back then and of course we all know the history of them is liberal white-wash so I'm not sure what to think of them.
But that doesn't change the fact that what you wrote makes no sense.

    That he is.

    Ok.

    Try that one again.

Hmmmm, this epidemic has been going on for how many years under white presidents and in 5yrs you claim that Pres. Obama made it worse, please explain that.

Really, what are Frank Grimes and folks like you doing to improve the problems that are happening in some black communities?

    Plenty, how about you?

I don't go to church and my sleeves have been rolled up since I was a young boy.

Thats why I can ask him. Now WTF have you done when it comes to mentoring youth? Don't talk about it, be about it.

    You've. Got. To. Be. Kidding.

YOU are the problem, ErikBEggs. YOU. You cannot even bring yourself to ADMIT that AS and JJ LOSE THEIR PLATFORM ENTIRELY if those two scumbag race-baiting losers are no longer considered leaders by the black culture.

Oh, on that we agree. The #1 job of JJ and AS should be reaching and influencing the black community, and they fail miserably.

And you and yours haven't run them completely out of town because...why?

Oh, and BTW: if AS and JJ aren't the leaders of the black culture, who are? Can you even name anyone?

And you still sit there with your thumb up your ass and wonder how to fix the problem?

I want the black community fixed. I'm sick of seeing racist conservative minions condemning the black community but not doing a thing to help ANY of the problems that exist within it.[/QUOTE]

Careful with your loaded terms - it's another reason why you're NOT fixing the problem. None of us speaking with you, for instance, are racist. I, for instance, grew up in the inner city of Milwaukee. For 16 years of my life, every friend I had in the neighborhood was black.

Do you mentor black kids? It's so much easier for a black adult to mentor a black youth; there is far less pressure on the child.

Obama is in a unique position to make massive strides with the black culture. Instead, he's continued the politics of racial and class division, and made the problem worse.

But only Obama, because of his perception in the black community. Other Presidents had no chance at all. Clinton would have gotten the closest - but he wasn't interested in fixing the ills of the black community, only securing their votes.

So it has been with all Democrats. We all know Republicans are hardly ever let in the door.

Like it or not: this is your problem to fix. No one who needs to listens to us.

I know how to fix the problem. I'm waiting for it to be put in motion.

It will never happen. The best blacks can hope for is wealthy blacks such as entertainers and rappers to achieve their wealth and lobby. Cookie cutter mentorship and youth inner city programs will never get off the ground without political lobbying. For that I do blame wealthy blacks.

Of course every one of your friends were black, silly me.

You and every other white male in this country.

    Actually I do.

I was an academic tutor for my minority scholarship program.

I was a resident assistant for a youth summer program for both middle school and high school minorities interested in the sciences technology.

I spoke at the Beautillion, a rite of passage for young black men in high school in the local community.

The most powerful way to lead, is to lead by example. I try my best. I am only 24, sir.
