I am not attempting to change your mind, I've found for the ill informed and brain washed that is a futile endeavour. Most intelligent people tend to form an opinion after seeking relevant information from both sides of the debate . are you an intelligent person? "None so deaf as those that will not hear. None so blind as those that will not see" - Matthew Henry.
Yeah, so what? Some other wacko bird democrat claimed all republicans want you to die quickly. Not the first time left wing nut job politicians made spurious allegations. Little bit off the topic of democrats endorsement of forced abortions.
Except of course that these "spurious" allegations are based in fact, where as yours are not. Prove it. not off topic at all, you are accusing democrats of endorsing force abortions without a shred of evidence to support it, yet when shown the facts that a Republican was actively supporting the suppression of reports that showed forced abortion was going on, you say "Yeah, so what?" .... can you not see how hypocritical you are being?
I find that intelligent people value human life. Those that don't have nothing intelligent to pass on. If respecting human life in all of it's stages means I am brain washed then let me be brain washed by the ill informed scientists which state that life begins at conception. I've found that reading propaganda which tries to minimize forced abortions by citing studies or surveys which say that it is less than 1% a waste of my time. It's as valuable as used toilet paper. "Aborted babies will not hear or see." - Me.
It's not about aborting children, because you can't abort a child. At the point they're children, they're outside the womb. If you meant to say abortions, then that's not really the theme they're going for. They're talking about women's rights in general, not one thing in particular.
So you assume I don't value human life, though I know for a fact that human life only has as much value as another places upon it, even you abide by that. So you really think that stopping all abortions is going to have an effect on those forced abortions do you . .how about addressing the source of the problem instead of some make believe solution. Again you only respect life that you deem worthy of respect, so please don't try to pull the wool over my eyes with this "respecting human life" BS. Factually impossible to abort a "baby", babies are already born and you cannot abort something that has already been born
Thank you for reminding me of the Republicans support of forced abortions in the Marianas......I discovered that years ago but forgot...as Republicans hoped people would do. Clinton tried to rectify the abuses but Republican's friends were making too much money ....
""Democrats endorsement of forced abortions " is not the topic....can't you remember your own topic???? Facts are: REPUBLICANS supported and endorsed forced abortions in the US Marianas....
Of course it's about aborting children. You may object to the vernacular but it is a fact that abortion is the termination of a pregnancy which would have otherwise resulted in childbirth. And Roe vs Wade is all about abortions which is the first thing mentioned in the meme if you bothered to read it so don't tell me it isn't about aborting children. I'm not having this argument that it is not a child in the womb when expectant mothers will tell you otherwise. They won't say they are having a lump of cells or a fetus, they will tell you they are "with child" as the old expression goes. I'm real tired of the asinine stupidity that goes into the pro-choice arguments which are only intended to assuage the guilt of those perpetrating the crime and the false arguments.
And you don't place value upon it, which I did assume only to be proven correct by you below when you say babies cannot be aborted. The source of the problem is the dehumanization and devaluing of human life. Someone is also making assumptions as to what I life I deem worthy...Someone who thinks respecting human life is BS. And there you have it. Dehumanizing the fetus in order to assuage the guilt you feel about you own opinion. Of course it's a baby. It's not a tumor or a growth. It's not a cancer or an invading foreign body. It's a child.
I was being ironic about that. Although, what I said was true. I don't believe that nonsense for a minute. I didn't see anything saying republicans supported or endorsed forced abortions.
Ironic? No, mistaken. No YOU didn't see anything because you chose not to. The history and proof of the Republicans support of forced abortions in the Marianas is there for everyone else to see and that's what counts
gosh a mind reader, can you tell me the lottery results for next week please. babies cannot be aborted, I suggest you look up the medical definition of baby, you will find it doesn't include the unborn. ... but there again knowing your reluctance to actually read I doubt you will. First part of your reply doesn't make sense, second part is nothing more than a misrepresentation .. please do show anywhere I say respecting human life is BS what a load of BS, how is calling something by its proper medical name dehumanizing it and I certainly have no guilt about my opinion .. though I understand why pro-lifers have to lie about other people and try to change what something is called, it is the only way they can defend their opinion. Nope it is not a "baby", a baby is the time period between birth and 1 year old .. try reading something other than right-wing(nut) religious sites.
All you have is a democrat making that claim and nothing else. It's just another stupid claim by a left wing nut job democrat congressman. And it's from when? Tom Delay has been out of office for years. Might as well be Tea Pot Dome.
No it's not just about abortions. "Does the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution protect the right to privacy, including the right to obtain an abortion?" "Did the fact that Roe’s pregnancy had already terminated naturally before this case was decided by the Supreme Court render her lawsuit moot?" http://www.lawnix.com/cases/roe-wade.html Whether or not a person has the right up a case, it's standing is an actual legal issue. So is the right to privacy. I'm tired of people who decide to use emotion instead of reason. No one's perfect. But we're not going to be arguing vernacular, we're going to be arguing the facts. The fact is that the meme wasn't just about abortions, it was also about healthcare. That matters because it goes to what PP does as an organization.
I see. Where in the medical definition do you see magic vagina? A baby is not a baby unless it passes through the magic vagina evidently. Of course it is a baby in utero. This is the dehumanizing argument that I said you would use and you did use it. This shows a lack of respect for human life that I expected from you. It doesn't take a mind reader to know how liberals think. "Someone is also making assumptions as to what life I deem worthy" is what I meant to say. As to the second: "...please don't try to pull the wool over my eyes with this 'respecting human life' BS." What is BS is saying that an unborn baby is not a baby until it passes through the magic vagina and suddenly becomes a person, an individual human being worthy of Constitutional rights that it did not have one second earlier. Don't liberals realize how ridiculous that sounds? See? You prove my point. It is not a baby inside the womb...it is not human. That is dehumanizing.
It's a Mother's Day meme and in very bad taste. It is about abortion, it is about Mother's Day. There's no denying that. The Roe vs Wade decision was one of the worst Supreme Court decisions since Dred Scott. The 4th Amendment protects the right to privacy, which should not extend to the right to kill unborn children by butchers parading as doctors IMO. The 14th does not mention abortions and any reading of it which says it does is pure fantasy and a bastardization of our laws. Does that fact that Norma L. McCorvey is pro-life make a difference now? It should have rendered her lawsuit moot because she didn't have standing. Someday our country will reverse that bad decision which has caused infanticide to be legalized. This will be remembered in history as America's holocaust. If it was only about healthcare, then why mention Roe v Wade, birth control and "choice" on MOTHER'S DAY??? Why not have a meme that says, we care about the good healthcare for women and proper prenatal care for expectant mothers? Why didn't they say that? That meme is almost a slap in the face of women who do "choose life".
No, it isn't a Democrat making a claim, it is documented fact, something you have not put forth for YOUR goofy claims.........now how have conditions changed in the Marianas???
It can also be a baby if its birth is by C-section. We are talking about stages of development, and the stage of development from birth to one year is "baby" or "infant." A fetus isn't a baby just like an embryo isn't a fetus, or a toddler isn't an adult. No one ever said a fetus isn't human, but that doesn't mean it's a person. Giving a fetus rights takes human rights away from the woman, and that is dehumanizing.
Here's something else you have NO proof of... Point out where anyone, including the poster you quoted, has said the fetus ISN'T human. POINT IT OUT..
Why do you think calling something by the correct scientific word dehumanizes anything?? Are you, as a righties, that frightened of science?? NO one said the fetus isn't human. As usual, logic eludes you.
Yes there is. No it wasn't. Good opinion to have. No. No it wouldn't have. Whatever you think. Good question, ask yourself, did I say it was only about healthcare or did you? Is that how you spell choose? I'm always confused on that. Now if you want me to have a meaningful discussion with me, you're not going to post something like this again. It's rude to me because I'm not going to argue against someone who is poisoning the well. It's rude to the forum because other people will look at your post and think it's the norm for this site. It's rude to other people because I have to spend time responding to a poisoned counter argument. So if you want to talk to me about this, knock off the poisoned well argument and debate me meaningfully.
I don't see where this is going, nor have I seen any evidence presented that republicans are for forced abortions in the Marianas Islands. That is just a goofy claim that you are making, I've never heard of it before.
