I have worked with the IDF, good people. Excellent Soldiers. Israel is an advanced and stable state in a area that is desperate from that example. Isarel is an established fact that is not going anywhere.

Israel is also a country that is occupying its neighbor's land, has a counter-productive and conflict breeding settlement policy, repressive laws and actions towards Palestinians, and a policy that is confrontational rather than diplomatic (witness the reversal of Turkish/Israeli relations for example).

Is telling Israel that their current policies are bone headed a demand for the destruction of Israel?

Israel is an estabished fact. It isn't going anywhere. Instead of screaming victim through BiBi all the time, they need to work on policies of engagement and not negotiate but settle. At some point, Israel should probably notice that the world is treating its current administration like the boy who cried wolf .... WAY to many times.

And how does Israel change? Might be good to take a ACTUAL look at the Islam that Israel and her supporters too often bash. There are far more commonalities between Juddaism and Islam than there are differences. Indeed, there are people on both sides of the fence who are peaching and indeed working to expand these common ties as a basis of building peace based on respect rather than fear of Israeli might.

Have you completely missed the often repeated reason why we who do not support the steady flow of bad mouthing of Muslims do what we do?

I'm no Muslim, but I am not afraid to argue alongside members of groups I don't belong to when I think they are right.

As it is today, Christianity has more social power than Islam. A person who is a Muslim will be treated worse than a person who is identical except for being a Christian. This is an inequality, they do not start on equal grounds. That inequality is what I argue against. If it applies to Muslims, Hindus, Romani, black people, Slavs, leprechauns or garden elves doesn't matter (even if their number matter to whether I would read up on or bother to argue).

Should I argue with a Taliban leader or Saudi statesman, I would probably bring up similar arguments as some of yours, because in doing so, I would be able to influence their policies (assuming I am good enough at it). Repeating the same arguments against Islam (I'm ignoring whether they are lies or not here) on a forum which no Muslim lawmakers visit does not change their policies, but it does widen the inequality between the Muslim and the Christian.

Of course failing women's rights are unacceptable, but just making a bunch of noise about it isn't helping anyone, again, it just hurts those who are already in a bad position.

Judgement, legal or social, should be passed on individuals. If (made up numbers) 50% of Muslim men beat their wives, then those 50% should be socially and legally judged for that. The other 50% should not have to be judged or even affected by the actions of the other half. These premises work for all percentages.

Now, I'm not one to place labels on things, so I leave it to you to decide whether this equality, individualism and justice is un-american or not.

Hey people we are Human, created by one God, and we are the same, there is no different between people who don't think the same. If I say Jews or Christian or Muslims or ... are very bad so what is my benefit?
