This is really entertaining! I had to show my wife this. She didn't believe there were real people who were this ignorant and clueless until I joined this place a month or two ago. Saudi Arabia is the only country in the Muslim world which doesn't allow women to drive. It has nothing to do with religion.
The hijab is required of women in very few countries. I iive in Egypt and while the hijab is worn more and more, it is not required by the state.

 

Read some of Karen Armstrong's books on Islam- she was a Catholic nun at one point and studied Judaism as well.

You do realise that spreading these lies and sometimes uncomfortable truths, you cement the general public's views of Muslims, and not for the better. The only impact loud anti-Muslims have is increasing the animosity between those Muslims who actually behave and everyone else.

All those things you say are true, but they are not true in general. You seem to believe that "Muslims" do all these things or are responsible, but they are all but small groups using a religious rhetoric. A Qaeda has less to do with most Muslims than Westboro baptist church has to do with most Christians.

The Christian Sub-Saharan countries are worse off than MENA in most ways. Of course, this has very little to do with Christianity. MENA is still doing quite badly, and that can, similarly, be attributed to the constant wars in the area, for one thing, the system is built upon a tribal system which always will have animosity towards each other in a way westerners can't really understand, then there is the Israel question, someone showing up out of nowhere running people out of their homes have huge impacts on everything, then there is the American invasion, invasions always have impacts on things like infant mortality and focusing on the difference between the cultures of the invaders and invadees.

We are not telling you about Angola because we want to say that "by your standard, you are still worse than them", we tell you about Angola for you to realise that the standard you use is not sensible.

We are not telling you about the Crusades because we want to say that "by your standard, you are worse than them", we tell you about the Crusades to show you that even an idea that can be considered "good" can do horrible things.

Women are treated like second class citizens in all of the world except for a few places, US, west Europe and a few other places. Muslim world is no exception but it's not worst.

 

Margot is a muslim though he/she claims to be Christian. As with many other muslims on this forum they conceal their real religion in hopes of distorting Christianity. They are good muslims however in that they lie about their faith.
