Consider this! Why do you have to make a post like this? Serious question.

    Yes. Exactly right.

I am certain that there is a lot known by our intelligence community about our adversaries that would be interesting to know and which would contradict their public statements. But there are good reasons why they keep that stuff under wraps.

We don’t want them to know what we know. We don’t want them to know what our capabilities are. We don’t want to give them leads to follow.

Btw, the US, Russians, Chinese, Israelis, and Brits are exceptionally good at this game.

After WW1, Russia lost a ton of territory. In 1939 they got much of it back, thanks to their friendship with the Nazis.

In 1991, they lost that territory again, and now they want it back.....again.

I may not have been clear with my point. The fact that you have to post an explanation like you did is stunning to me.

1917, Russia lost a ton of territory.....and stole a lot of it back in 1939, with the help of the Nazis.

1991, Russia lost a ton of territory....and now wants to steal it back.

if Trump was still President, Putin would have invaded months ago.

Trump would have literally told him "go ahead, take the Rhineland, take Sudetenland"

    oops, my bad ;)

    Ah, I see. Sorry ... didn’t understand.

Yeah ... When I listened to that reporter haranguing that State Department spokesman, I thought, “Hey! Dumb-dumb! ****, ya moron!”

Oh, please, let’s not get into Trump vs Biden thing in this situation!
You should treat current development as a rare opportunity for unity. I didn’t expect much from Biden, but the US response to Russia has been unexpectedly strong and well thought through.
Once this crisis goes away we can resume our internal struggles and smear each other with labels like woke and racists.

But Trump wanted Russia readmitted to the G-7 and advocated for "getting along with" him. I'm taking a jab at Trump here, not Republicans at large. I think Republicans embracing Trump's lies about the last election and the twisted alternate reality that Trump likes to create for them is far more of a concern. If we want national unity, we have to come together and reject Trump and others who say the sorts of things he says and do the sorts of things he does.

There's a few problems here. A Russian General did show their satellite image and there was a jet nearby the airliner. Yet no one saw our satellite images. All we got from Obama was trust us.

Other than that, a week before the airliner was shot down, the Vineyard of the Saker wrote that Kiev sent 4 Buks to the
Donbas and they couldn't understand why. Also the investigative reporter Robert Parry said on Consortiumnews, that a Ukranian company called Burisma Holdings was passing big bucks around Washington to keep the blame on Vladimir Putin for the plane shoot down.

Robert Parry also wrote that the Washington agent he knew told him that the only photo they have of men manning a Buk are in Ukrainian uniforms and that everything points to a rogue group in Ukraine. I'm sure he meant Kolomoisky.

When Parry asked him later why aren't they telling the American people now that they know the truth and that the Russians weren't involved, the agent said tha
t the Russians have everything going for them in Ukraine, but all Washington has is their propaganda. In other words their lies.

The shooting of the airliner was an assassination attempt against Vladimir Putin. He was coming back from Brazil and his plane was the same size and color as the airliner and it had left the Warsaw airport 2 hours before. The route towards Rostov would have normally taken him over Ukraine, but his pilot took another route.

There was also a Spanish air controller who wrote quite a few things on his blog about what department in Ukraine knew about it and which department didn't know. If true, it's doubtful the controller is still alive.

A drunk Kolomoisky did say in a video by the Russian pranksters (which youtube removed of course), that his men meant to shoot one plane down and shot another by mistake.

So where is that video proof? I never saw it.

In 2016 I voted for Hillary, in large part because of Trumps questionable behavior towards Russia.
When Trump sent Javelins to Ukraine I came to a conclusion that Trumps behavior was driven by his attempts to display openness to dialogue.
Never ending Russian collusion coverage, mass media lies and omission, and then Covid and riots of 2020 convinced me that his tweets are like the worst of his bark.
I will never fully understand Trumps behavior towards Russia. The weirdness of his behavior became a bigger mystery when it turned out that Russian collusion story was a hoax.
Last several years my views drifted squarely into the right. I sincerely hope Trump won’t run again and believe Ted Cruz and Ron DeSantis will be great conservative presidents who wouldn’t have to deal with self-inflicted wounds nearly as much as Trump did, but if Trump does run, I’m voting for him. America is not the same anymore because of woke and it bothers me.

There was no Russian collusion "story." There were, rather, a lot of speculation and the facts that were found through investigation. Trump overreacted to it all and mischaracterized it as 1. an attack on him personally and 2. a "hoax," but there was nothing to call a hoax because there was no claim that he was colluding with the Russians. Again, it was open speculation at most.

There remain a lot of questions about it all since Trump and others have managed to keep a lot of what went on secret, but we do know that his campaign chairman shared polling data with the Russians while they were meddling in the election with their influence efforts, essentially amplifying Trump's campaign and damaging Clinton's.

    It’s a bloody mess.
I’m just quietly hoping Trump himself won’t run. There are a lot of younger conservatives who share views very similar to Trumps without any of this ugly crap. DeSantis manages to poke fun at progs without resorting to poorly thought tweets, and he stood up to them in a big way with masks and Covid. I also like Ted Cruz. Trumps cries about voter fraud were embarrassing, I’ll admit that.
Still, for the sake of this country, I think woke must be completely eliminated from all political offices and be publicly condemned as racists. My alliance with R was cemented for good in 2020.

I think DeSantis would probably beat Trump in a primary for the reasons you bring up.

Then say that Ameria also killed thousands of its citizens on September 11 to justify the war in the Middle East. It will be just as true.
This is just a Western training manual - to create fakes and lie about something that does not exist. Western audience is familiar and understandable. The Russians have a different mentality - all this conspiracy and open plans - do not look serious. Simply put: where an American lies, a Russian simply won't tell the whole truth.
Yes, Russia denies lies. "Videos on the Internet" - that's your evidence. It is impossible to establish their privacy - this is propaganda. Russia has provided data of objective observation of the situation from the radar. You don't believe it. America assured that she had photographs from the satellite - but so far she has not shown them. Just believe.

KGB officers were arrested planting a bomb in a Moscow apartment building.

the govt official investigating the bombings, was himself arrested and put in prison.

all info about the bombings was declared a state secret...for 90 years.

    they sound pretty damn guilty

"KGB officers" - already funny. "According to the official version and the verdicts of the Russian judicial authorities, the attacks were organized and financed by the leaders of the illegal armed group Islamic Institute "Caucasus" Emir al-Khattab and Abu Umar and carried out by groups of North Caucasian militants hired by them"

It is also not difficult to find non-official versions of how the Pentagon blew up the twin towers
