There's a lie in every word. The Ukrainian government is not only threatening, it has been doing this for a long time! It turned the inhabitants of Ukraine, who were no different from the rest of the inhabitants of the USSR in mentality into zombies who had forgotten their history and ancestors.

And Putin is not a bloody dictator, and compared to the horrors taking place in Ukrainian politics, he is pink and fluffy!

And what about the fact that they haven't been shot and forced BEFORE! They built their identity on a lie. They've been scatter rocks for 30 years. Now it's time to collect them!

Wrong. Russia sent Russian Seperatists into Ukraine to cause mayhem and discord then used that as an excuse to start an invasion. Anybody can see that except Putin's sheep who know no better.

And, a blood thirsty dictator is a leader who conscripts 300k civilians, then makes them buy their own armor and clothes then send them straight to the front lines with very little ammo to die on the front lines as cannon fodder all while sending missiles killing innocent civilians.

It truly is that simple to view the truth when not being told what to think by the Kremlin.

I'm not sure they were being taught what you think they were being taught. You do rely on Kremlin-controlled propaganda, after all. You don't have honest news reporting in your country. It is censored and controlled by a post-Soviet authoritarian government that has been headed by the same few corrupt former KGB spooks for decades.

You don't know, but you're still "not sure" and insist that I'm not telling the truth. And I know about this not from official reports on TV, but from the stories of Ukrainians themselves (I have been communicating with them on forums since 2004) and have seen scans of Ukrainian textbooks. And I saw a video of first-graders children being taught to jump on the spot and shout "who doesn't jump is a Muscovite!"

Or you've heard stories from IRA agents posing as Ukrainians, and/or seen isolated incidents that are not reflective of life in Ukraine overall.

I had no trouble speaking Russian there when I visited. I'm sure there have been some strong feelings since your country invaded in 2014 and started killing people, though.

If something doesn't fit your theory, then you start inventing explanations. Don't make me laugh! They were ordinary people, they even showed their photos. And if these were separate incidents, then who was rampaging on the Maidan, beating and killing policemen, killing supporters of Russia, as happened in Odessa?

Speaking Russian was not a trouble for you, because almost everyone in Ukraine spoke Russian, but despite this, children were forbidden to study at school in Russian, newspapers and magazines in Russian were banned, TV shows and films in Russian were banned. Don't you think that's a little undemocratic? )) And now the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine is seizing and destroying books in Russian. This is already a dystopia - the Ministry of Culture destroys books!

I'm suggesting possibilities that you evidently refuse to consider. Ukraine is not some Nazi regime persecuting Russians, bottom line. You're being lied to and manipulated by former KGB agents who have made it illegal to criticize the war your country is persecuting, illegal even to protest it. Think about that.

You're talking about KGB agents again! If you listen to it, you might think that the whole world is KGB agents! )))

I knew about what was happening in Ukraine long before the age of 22 and even long before the age of 14! And you can find a lot of photos of Ukrainians with Nazi symbols on the Internet. You can also find information about the prohibitions of the Russian language, even songs. It's stupid to try not to notice the obvious.

Your "president" is a former KGB agent, as are his cronies. Even the head of your church, evidently. Not the whole world, but your whole leadership. And they have poisoned your mind with sustained disinformation and propaganda to the point where you now support an atrocity being committed in your name.

I repeat for the last time: I knew about what was happening in Ukraine long before the war, when there was no news about Ukraine yet. Therefore, I cannot be "poisoned by propaganda"

Based on something you were told on a message board, as I recall. So it may not have been your Kremlin-controlled press that gave you some bad ideas, but I'm thinking your opinions are not based on first-hand experience. At best, you're assuming that what you heard about was widespread in Ukraine. At worst, you were lied to by someone.

People speak Russian in Ukraine even today. It is in no way banned and Russians are in on way persecuted in Ukraine, at least as a matter of policy or on a general basis. Obviously there may be bigots in Ukraine who do act that way, and if so that is unfortunate, but no justification for this war.

A small point when compared to the magnitude of the TRAGEDY unfolding before us

    However: If the Russian language
"is in no way banned or persecuted as a matter of policy " - how come the mayor
of Kharkov was fined (as a matter of policy ) for using IT ? - It seems that IT
is "most definitely banned" - banned at least in some strange way if you dare
................................................................... ........................... to use IT on Facebook [IMG]

spin it any way you want - The FACT will remain, the mayor
    of
Kharkov has been persecuted and banned from using IT

So does Durandal, tell LIEs or does HE simply believe them ?

That was a most delusional Kremlin fed nonsense. Ukrainians got a taste of freedom and realized how bad Russia was with their State enforced mass media brainwashing the Russian Citizens with disinformation. At least Ukrainians have a choice to either support Ukraine or Russia pre-invasion. Inside Russia, there is never a choice, the Kremlin tells you what to think and what to believe. True Zombies are on the Russians side while the entire world has witnessed Russia's lies first hand.

FYI. There are Nazi's dressing up like Nazi's in the USA. These very few amount of idiots never represent an entire country. Nobody should ever blame less than 1% of the population for the countries problems and never use that as an excuse for an invasion. Just more Putin lies to disinform his sheep that live in a bubble where they are force fed Putin lies 24/7 and are never given the opportunity to learn the truth of what they are force fed since it is always one sided.

And, I have posted here many times about large parties of White Supremacists in Russia. Heck, one white supremacist group is actually funded by the Kremlin. Not a single one of the Putin sympathizers acknowledged those posts because they are not allowed to acknowledge the truth. Putin punishes anyone who acknowledges the truth.

Explain what you mean by saying "Ukrainians have felt the taste of freedom"? Freedom from whom? In 1991, freedom came to the USSR - the CPSU was overthrown. And why exactly at this time did Ukraine decide to secede? Explain who enslaved Ukrainians and in what years?

    Really?

The next stage of the implementation of the law "On ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language" comes into force in Ukraine on Saturday. From now on, failure to comply with the law entails administrative responsibility - a fine of up to 8.5 thousand hryvnias ($ 300), which will be increased in case of repeated violation. According to the document, which was adopted in April 2019 and was introduced in stages, citizens of the country should use the Ukrainian language in all spheres of public life. By now, public administration, science and education, medicine, services, advertising, print media and Internet sites are required to fully switch to the Ukrainian language. All cultural events should be held only in the State language. TV channels have a quota of 75% for broadcasts in Ukrainian. The demonstration of foreign films and TV series is also allowed only in the state language.

    information from July 16, 2022
