have now been demonstrated to be effective mass-murder devices.

    Question to gun controllers:
Shall we add shotguns and revolvers to the 'Ban List' with semi-autos and high capacity magazines?

If not, then why ban anything?

If so, then what shan't we ban?

Actually they have now been shown to be much less effective as AR style weapons. But we could make wars more humane by limiting weapons to revolvers snd shotguns.

    Howya figure?

10 people killed before on-site security could take him down- no mags, no semi-auto.

Maniacs with ARs have done less but been used as fodder for arguments to ban em.

Maybe it doesnt have as much to do with the gun after all?

the stated long term goal of gun control crowd has long been , that if they could BS the public into favoring an 'assault weapon' ban that they could eventually ban everything

What's your point? Do you think there would have been less killed if he had a semi-automatic and magazines?

You know banning everything is the goal.
Governments want passive worker bees, not free, independent, liberty loving citizens

Let’s ban all guns.......from movies, TV shows, video games, and music videos. We should support Hollywood stars by giving them credibility and taking away their hypocrisy.

Those trying to deceive us into thinking that the Gun Ban lobbies only want "common sense" gun laws "for the children" are pushing to get "assault weapons" banned precisely BECAUSE they will fail to reduce our homicide rate & school shootings.
That way they can come back and bank additional classes of firearms.

Until we discover and address whatever is driving this angry & demanding trigger happy generation of school children, I only see enhanced security and more accessible mental health detection & intervention as viable options.

That wouldn't work since Vietnam and Iraq were not actual declared wars.

From what I understand the Texas shooter was vexed because his advances on a female student were openly & publicly rejected.
He may have been bullied and / or ridiculed during or after that incident.
He also stated that he spared certain students so that they could tell his "side of the story"

I know I'm showing my age but it seems that indulging young individuals with "safe spaces", the expectation of immediate gratification, pats on the head and "Participation trophies" has made them ill equipped to deal with life's adversities & cruel realities

Sure now, chemical and nuclear weapons certainly convinced people to outlaw war.

Able was exploiting him and Cain was simply taking back what was rightly his. The first SJW

    Nope.

Abel was just and did what was Right.
Cain was jealous and did what was wrong.

    Genesis 4: 2-10

2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.

4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lordhad respect unto Abel and to his offering:

5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

6 And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

9 And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?

10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.

And I would likely agree with you. I would go a step further, that being the liberal culture glorifying violence in every aspect of our entertainment creating a very real desensitivising environment for the youth who find glory in the very violence and methods they employ.
