Clearly Able left rocks sitting around unattended and was the victim of his own carelessness and thirst for blood

Regrettably, the same people making $ Billions from violent video games & blood soaked entertainment are the ones using their $ Billions to fund the same old Gun Ban lobbies to bankroll anti 2A puerile Parkland puppets.

You will note that "Attention" Hogg & "Skinhead" Gonzales were immediately "outraged" and crying "SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING!" louder than an infant with soiled diapers.
It's long past time for Hogg, Gonzales etc to grow up, look honestly at the actions of their peers & quit blaming adults for their murderous generation.

What does that have to do with the death rate/ time ratio?

Longer than if he had an AR. Actually who knows since the official version of the time line is yet to be released. Doesn't matter though since we know the AR types are much better and faster at killing a lot of people. Las Vegas pretty well proved that at least until a real NRA hero get loose with a real machine gun.

What's the trigger pull to kill ratio for each?

Because knives are used to kill more people than ALL rifles, people who want to ban the AR-15s & so called "assault weapons" want to ban them BECAUSE they will not reduce America's homicide rate.
Then, the same people will be back to ban another category of firearms & on it goes...

"First they came for the "assault weapons", and I did not speak out—

Because I did not own an "assault weapon".

Then they came for the handguns, and I did not speak out—

Because I did not own a handgun.

Then they came for the rifles and I did not speak out—

Because I did not own a rifle

Then they came for the shotguns —and then I learned what "common sense" gun control "for the children" really meant."

The deadliest school shooting committed in the united states was carried out with two handguns, with magazines limited to no more than ten rounds of ammunition each. Far less than the number of victims in the Parkland and Sandy Hook incidents.

Therefore the AR-15 is less effective than handguns.

    Explain how.

If you can't figure out how eliminating bombs and automatic weapons and land mines and nukes and chemical weapons and limiting wars to only revolvers and shotguns is going to reduce carnage and civilian death then clearly you have a bit of a problem.

Except all that would be a good thing which makes your analogy a bit disingenuous.

Really, please let us all know which wars were fought only with shotguns and revolvers!

Yes, I can see where disarming law abiding gun owners would, indeed, be a "good thing" for criminal miscreants and their apologists.
Until then, be careful whose house you rob or which Grandma you chose to mug.

Factually incorrect. Go about explaining how to go about removing all of these types of firearms from existence, preventing anymore from ever being constructed by those who have the knowledge of how such work, and limiting everyone to nothing more than shotguns and revolvers, to insure that firearm technology never advances further beyond that point.

If you are claiming My post was factually incorrect you could at least bother to point out the facts thst are not correct. You might want to start by learning the definition of a fact. And just for your education I doubt the weapons I mentioned such as chemical weapons, bombs, nukes, etc,etc could possibly be categorized as firearms.

I'm with you on this one, there is something up with a lot of these kids nowadays. We had bullies in school when I was growing up but we never had kids shooting up the place because they were upset.

Dunking kids in trash cans, toilet swirlies, getting rejected by girls, getting embarrassed in public, etc are not new concepts here limited to this new generation by any stretch of the imagination. Yet we didn't have this problem.

And no it's not because we didn't have access to guns. We had guns.....on campus....hundreds of them in kids cars as did a huge chunk of rural American schools. It's not that kids wanted to shoot up the place but didn't have the means to do it, it's that kids back then didn't want to shoot up the place...

When your high school crush goes to the prom with the jock instead of you then you went to the prom with your buddies or you went home and stole your dads beer and drank on the porch crying or something. You didn't goto school the next day and try to kill every damn body.

There's nothing wrong with the guns there's something wrong with these damn kids.

I agree, we need to create laws that make it illegal to use certain types of weapons or munitions such as chemical weapons under international law because that'll prevent people from doing it....

    Meanwhile in Syria....

    See how well that works?
