I think it's a distant enough possibility that I'm not going to try to type out all the nuance of my position on the matter tonight. Suffice it to say, I'm unconcerned with what the people who support killing babies find sick or disgusting.

 

A couple of minutes ago you told me minors were "NOT" getting transgender surgery. I demonstrated that it does happen. Is this your lame attempt at avoiding ownership for the misinformation / disinformation you posted to the forum?

 

I think it's generally an improvement over the "just let the pregnant woman kill it if she wants" approach we've been taking.

 

Well, you implied it was children. Did the surgery happen without parental consent, or was the person emancipated, in which case, an adult.

This is another falsehood you're telling. I was very clear in my post that I was speaking about "minors" precisely because the definition for "minors" is much less nebulous than the definition for "children".

Why don't you look into it a bit if you're curious? A few minutes ago you didn't think it happened at all, so this could be educational for you.

There are probably some limits to how much latitude I think parents should be given over children (18-hour days in coal mines is probably over the line, for example), but generally I'm in favor of fairly broad rights for parents and fairly narrow powers for government intervention.

It should not be a "religious" thing either........as not everyone is of the same belief system............and many don't buy in t to traditional religion at all now.

I t is a medical.......legal issue that is between a woman and her medical advisors.

If abortion is against one's religious beliefs..........then don't have one.......but don't tell otters how to live. and don't judge others ..........as that is not ones job.......... and one does not know the circumstances another person is going through. No one has the right to do "family planning" for anyone else........ It is a personal matter and the privacy of same should be respected
