No, he's right. The CDC is counting all confirmed covid deaths as well as all probable covid deaths. However, as per a study released from Stanford on Monday, there are 28-55 times more unconfirmed cases of covid than confirmed cases of covid. Covid is no more likely to kill than the common flu.

 

A) This virus lasts several days, so no, a good night's sleep isn't going to fix you.

B) Yes, most who get this virus will be fine. In fact, 95-99% will survive. But the fact that this virus is extremely contagious and the fact that it does kill 1-5% of the population is a very ****ing bad thing.

I live in Houston, Texas which -- if discounting the huge numbers of illegals -- has an official population of 2.326 million people OR if you do count an estimation of the numbers of illegals . . . three million people. As of today we have 4,977 infected and 78 dead. For all practical purposes, statistically speaking, NOBODY in Houston knows anybody who's been infected, much less died from this flu.
