Sean Hannity along with many others on the right have caused more destruction and more confusion from their continuous, mind numbing character assignation, ignorant comments, bogus stories, and personal attacks of the president than any other force.

90% of all the obstruction and nothing getting done in Washington “amazingly” can be tied back to Sean and his ilk sabotaging the political conversation and poisoning it with their lies & hatred.

It's personal with them, and it always has been.

Millions of people tune into these folks everyday so they can feel validated for hating someone they’ve never met, and they in-turn show up at town hall meetings in tri-pointed hats all across the country screaming about Muslim, Kenyan born dictators and they have ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE as to what their talking about.

They’re just angry, and the real tragedy is that they don’t even know what the hell they’re angry about. All they know is that >>>MOD EDIT: NAME-CALLING<<< is now president of the United States, their country has been hijacked, and the nice Irish guy on television tells them every night how inept and evil he is.

They put the fear of God in their local representatives and send them back to Washington with mandates to say no to everything.

Seriously these last five years have brought out the ugliest Americans and ugliest in America, and it’s been nothing less than a travesty & horror to watch.

Sean and everybody like Sean (on the left and right) should have their shows yanked from them so the mass hysteria can finally stop and legislating can begin.

Yes….there are a few bomb throwers on the left as many in here will certainly point out, but I doubt if anybody could say with a straight face that the left has had as many bomb throwers as the right in recent times or has been as volatile as Sean and his crew.

What we’ve all seen these last five years from the right in terms of hatred and a rise in hate groups is unprecedented, and it’s really been ugly.

Any first (fill-in-the-blank) African American anything always gets a hard time which is shameful enough – but the hard time this president has gotten can’t even be measured.

Here's to a long vacation for Mr. Hannity that will hopefully last forever.................

Judging by the vitriol dripping from your post - "hating someone (you've) never met", I'd say "centrist" is not really a part of the equation, here. The frequent race card usage and typical MSNBC level talking points don't evoke a lot of confidence, either.

Oh, and I can comfortably say that the "left wing bomb throwers" are much more volatile than Sean Hannity. Feel free to find ANY clip of Hannity where he resembles this:

I read Hannity is to be replace by Michael Savage. That nut makes Hannity look like a granola eating hippie by comparison. Be prepared for propaganda arm of the right to become even more radical and doomsaying.

If you think getting rid of Hannity is a good thing, wait until you see Megan Kelly. She is much more fierce and doesn't take (*)(*)(*)(*) from anyone.

The left is trying to make this as a God send and they are so utterly mistaken.

    - - - Updated - - -

What things has hannity said that are so radical. I will wait....

Tempest in a tea pot. It's only 30-50 stations on Cumulous, Hannity is still on several hundred stations on Clear Channel and will probably be picked up in those Cumulous markets by CC.

Obviously, this was a negotiation stalemate, Hannity wants more then Cumulous was willing to give, that's how business works.

BTW - It appears Rush will come to terms with Cumulous. If anything it shows the poor position RL is in with his radio contracts and affiliates...he is caving.

Did you read my post? I said Hannity was a flower child compared to Savage who truly is a radical.

Hannity isn't really a radical.. he's just a ditto head that plays the fear card to old white angry republicans.. and its worked great for him career-wise.

Even so, I suspect our definitions or Radical is much different. For instance I think purporting the lies that Obama is a non-American born muslim, hell bent on destroying America and implementing sharia law is radical. You probably think its good journalism.

The difference between Hannity and Savage is Savage says what he thinks, Hannity plays to the basic depravities of his audience. He is nothing but a celebrity showman.

Because opposing the Democrat Party and their socialist policies are "depraved". Of course. They're the party of sunshine, rainbows, flowers, and gum drops. Only evil can oppose such things.

Why should I educate you? You're information universe consists of Fox News and Rush Limbaugh.

I suggest getting out a little more.

The first reaction from a right winger (as opposed to left wingers, of which there are many as well) to anyone that disagrees with them is calling them a lib. It's an intellectually dishonest approach, but they think it is funny and feeds their validations...which is the most important thing to them as opposed to learning something new.

OIC. So you don't have an answer when called out for lobbing misinformation. Excellent, crabby. It's a double win, too, considering I also got you to deny that you're a liberal.

Har har. Must be such a shameful thing these days to actually admit you're a liberal. :winner:

Give it a rest. I've been called a right winger NUMEROUS times on this board this week alone by left wing nuts who disagree with me on a topic. Never mind that the right wing nuts are meanwhile calling me a left winger at the same time.

    BOTH sides do it.

    No way.

The show is horrible. Savage is the most narcissistic jerk I've ever heard on radio.

Most radio entertainers eventually peak and wane at some point. Don Imus comes to mind; at one point he was one of the recognized top-rated Disc Jockey's/entertainers in the nation; now while he still has a viable career, others have surpassed him and he is on the down-side of his career. Most talk-show hosts, without exception have and will follow this route; tho' while here, they made their mark.

I'm no neither side. I refuse to be defined by lunatical terms, and I REFUSE to form my opinions on individual topics based off nothing more than "left" or "right". I decide each subject on its merits, nothing else. And I wish more people would do so.

In my opinion, it was a combination of age, his voice is going (he sounds so tired), switching formats (he went from being a music disc jockey/entertainer to talk radio), health issues and running out of new ideas in a constant evolving business. BTW it shouldn't be looked at in a negative light, Imus broke and set new boundaries in the radio field. He is looked upon in a very venerable light by the industry. Like most people in the business, it is his time to start winding down and enjoying the fruits of his labor.
