There is no universe where 20% is a 'large percentage' of anything. Once again your version of facts comes up short.

Replacing 20% can be done if necessary. I'm sure Kazakhstan, Niger, Canada, Australia & others would be happy to fill the gap if Russia limits supplies.

There are a couple of nations that need particular nuclear products from Russia. Putin could certainly cause them difficulties by cuttting them off, but 'Europe' will survive.

No, the worst of the war is still ahead of us.

I won't end until the Russian state collapses.

So you are saying the war will never end ?! .. I disagree .. Europe is collapsing under the weight of sanctions .. Ukraine getting killed by attrition .. running out of bodies . running out of Ammo ..

EU is already talking negotiation .. suffering hard they are .. especially internally.. longing for the good old days of cheap gas.. German particularly hard hit .. some factories may have to move to China to remain competitive..

After another year or so of this the EU will be pushing hard to negotiate .. Vlad will keep Crimea .. region along the black sea and separatist region .. Ukraine will try to rebuild what is left of the nation.

The longer this war goes ... the more green Ukrainian teenagers get fed into the meat grinder .. an entire generation will be lost .

You didn’t explain why the EU is still buying uranium from Russia. Why would they continue to support Putin’s war machine if uranium is so easy to get? You did initially say the EU wasn’t getting it from Russia.

It was putins plan, he must have wanted NATO to expand. So that's what he got, there isn't a way to land grab without getting NATO attention. Cause and affect.

Pro-Russian military bloggers criticize Moscow over Biden visit to Kyiv

From CNN's Olga Voitovych in Kyv and Vasco Cotovio in London

Pro-Russian military bloggers and journalists have criticized the Kremlin for not being able to prevent US President Joe Biden from visiting the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.

Russian army veteran and former Federal Security Service (FSB) officer Igor Girkin said Biden could be taken all the way to Bakhmut and nothing would happen to him.

“Wouldn't be surprised if the grandfather (he is not good for anything but simple provocations anyway) is brought to Bakhmut as well... AND NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO HIM,” Girkin noted, ironically.

Girkin has been critical of the Kremlin and the Russian Ministry of Defense for what he considers a “soft” approach toward Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Russian Journalist Sergey Mardan struck a stronger tone, calling Biden’s visit a “Demonstrative humiliation of Russa.”

“Biden in Kiev (Russian spelling). Demonstrative humiliation of Russia,” Russian journalist Sergey Mardan wrote on his telegram channel. “Tales of miraculous hypersonics may be left for children. Just like spells about the holy war we are waging with the entire West.”

“I guess there are lunch breaks in a holy war,” he added.

A Telegram account managed by the Russian army and naval service members, Zapiski michmana Ptichkina, noted ironically that Biden had reached Kyiv before Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Almost a year after the beginning of the Special military operation, we are waiting in the Russian city of Kiev for the president of the Russian Federation, but not for the [President of the] United States."
There were others who were less critical.

Russia Military correspondent Yuri Kotenok claimed the air raid siren that rang out while Zelensky and Biden exited St. Michael's Cathedral was a “sham,” while Boris Rozhin from the Center for Military-Political Journalism said Biden only visited because he was given assurances no one would shoot at him.

“It is worth recalling that US presidents visited their puppets in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. We know how it ended for the United States,” Rozhin added.

Meanwhile, Putler is still hiding in his bunker in Moscow surrounded by anti-air defenses, isn't he? :)

Putinb has always said the only 2 reasons for the invasions were:
    (1) to liberate Lugansk and Donetsk to the east
    (2) prevent Ukraine from becoming a member of NATO.

BTW, I'm sure Putin wouldn't mind seeing Zelenskyy's head on a stick.

Why haven't you included the US's involvement in the gov't of Ukraine which said involvement goes back decades?

To what "involvement" do you refer?

Russia just had it's biggest monthly budget deficit since Yeltsin was in charge. Their population demographics are collapsing, even before Putin sent most of the able bodied men to the battlefield or leaving the country. The Ruble has lost 10% of it's value in the last week.

The war is about to get ugly, but Ukraine and it's allies are in a much better position than Russia is.

Russia is going to collapse before it wins this war.

That's not where it started. Unprovoked invasion is the new spontaneous mob.

It's my country that has been encroaching on Russia. If one can read a map, it's clear. We have been in their backyard for a couple of decades. And I have determined that there is no strategic advantage to those deployments of my country's weapons

That leaves 2 reasons the weapons were put there: ideology and/or profit for elites. It's apparent that no principles guide these people except power and money, so we are there for the latter.

Non Sequitur fallacy mate .. the ruble losing value over a week does not tell us Russia is going to collapse before it wins the war. USA has massive deficits every year and still we stand.

Your comments make no sense mate .. sense no not nyet nada nema nishta

Except it's OK for the US to occupy 1/3 of Russia's ally, Syria at the exact moment we scold them for the same thing?

Oh, and it's the 1/3 with the oil, intentions of which were stated in multiple press conferences by Trump. Biden continues that occupation.

At least **** of Syria before making such noble claims about soveriegnty.

Look at our track record; of course it will get worse.

We will leave the Ukrainians with an absolutely devastated country just like we did in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

My primary message to Ukrainians: pick better friends.

Or start a topic about Syria, then it would be relevant there.

NATO expanded at the request of the countries nearest to Russia. They sought the protection of our alliance and we obliged.
