I heard the wife of a dead veteran say otherwise. Her husband was reckless because "the commander in chief said it was okay". He got infected and died. She clearly blamed trump because her husband trusted him.

That’s only reported and confirmed cases. There is speculation that some regional US cases are “over confirmed” to benefit from federal govt aid. Just speculation, not proven so don’t bash me.

And not to change the subject, but China has delivered the US another epidemic. It’s called the Murder Hornet. We can’t depict the insect for it’s true name of Asian Giant Hornet because that’s racist. And low and behold the first outbreak of this flying insect that is 50 times more deadly than a bee is in Washington state. The exact same spot as the first coronavirus infection.

What I find interesting is the nature of this particular thread in which our political leftists flip-flop between being angry that there won't be millions of U.S. citizens dying and yet angry that the revised estimate is 100,000. I think they need to pause for breath and wait until either MSNBC or CNN can get around to telling them just what they should be angry about as of now in regards to these figures and statistics.

Today the CDC is claiming that in reality COVID-19 caused deaths are only half as many as rival reporting outlets have mainstained. That means that in reality so far there have been only 38,000 COVID-19 deaths inside the United States. Oh and the organization pushing the higher number? It turns out that it is a shell company owned by the Communist Chinese.

Trump tried to deny the virus was going to be an issue here, said he was doing a great job, patted himself on the back and claimed mission accomplished - hindsight also shows that to be wrong
