For example in March 2022 he announced, that Donbas army of Ukraine is already surrounded and later, that Himars will not give any effect on battlefield or that Russia will win on August 2023(I guess victory is close, as it's July now?). Ukraine still has some bad times ahead. Ukraine needs to hurt Russia severely in order to survive. Russia needs to be hurt and hurt badly in Ukraine and it needs to become divided internally. Let’s be serious Ukraine cannot achieve and sustain real independence without help. Russia is just too big and has too large of a population for Ukraine to fight back just on its bravery alone.

The Russians aren't retreating. Russian units have lost real estate in a few places, but that's a withdrawal, not a retreat.

This reminds me of the Overland Campaign during the American Civil War. Grant had inferior troops, inferior leaders. The only advantage he had was an almost infinite supply of troops, ammunition and equipment. He lost most of the battles during the campaign. But, he knew that everytime Lee fought a battle, he expended combat power that he couldn't replace and at some point, there wasn't going to be any combat power left.
