No. It isn't. Please stop spreading this dangerous misinformation. A carnivore diet is fine for ACTUAL carnivores -- snakes, big cats, etc. It is NOT by ANY STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION fine for humans.

what doctor agrees that the sailors would of got scurvy had they been on a meat\fish only diet

What doctor agrees that the sailors would have been healthy on a meat/fish only diet? And don't say Jordan Peterson.

any doctor that knows carnivores do not suffer from scurvy, common sense

I posted a link about that myth being busted that carnivores would get scurvy up above

yes, doctors "used" to believe that all carnivores would get scurvy, they were wrong

you're the one spreading dangerous misinformation, please stop

many humans have benefited from the carnivore diet, so it's a valid way of eating

I do not think the fruitarian diet is a healthy diet

low-carb or keto is the best imo

The distinction between hunting and scavenging is trivial. If I find a mortally wounded animal and I eat it, did I 'hunt' it or 'scavenge' it? Does it matter?

The point is that we don't get all we need from fruit. Even monkeys eat meat. Chimps chase down and devour smaller monkeys and share the meat only with their closest allies in their community because its their most valuable resource.

I would also add, fruit today is not what it was then, we have modified it to be sweeter, thus more like a treat

    are you sure?
    Is this source inaccurate?
    https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/quinoa

Quinoa is considered a complete protein source, which means that it provides all nine essential amino acids (Trusted Source7Trusted Source, 18Trusted Source, 19).

It’s exceptionally high in the amino acid lysine, usually lacking in plants. It’s also rich in methionine and histidine, making it an excellent plant-based protein source (1, 2Trusted Source, 3).

Not all proteins are equally easy for your body to digest. The protein in quinoa is highly digestible, much like casein, the high quality protein in dairy products (3, 19, 20, 21, 22Trusted Source, 23Trusted Source).

Quinoa is gluten-free and therefore suitable for people who are sensitive or allergic to gluten.

Personally, I pretty much eat steak, chicken or pork every single day along with Salads and plenty of vegetables. I mainly just cut down on processed foods and have lost much weight and have been quite healthy. My grandfather still eats meat and he is 92 and in great shape, still drives 2 hours to visit his girlfriend. I think any diet can work as long as people get the required nutrients in one way or form. But, to say that vegetarianism or eating meat is bad for you is really just some activist expressing their personal opinions.

It's only 4% protein which is very low if relying on that source to be your protein source in your diet. I was hoping it would be higher as I do look for high protein non-meat food sources

    Humans. Are. Not. Carnivores.

Again I ask: what doctor says it is healthy for humans to not eat plant matter? Can you please respond?

All the best diets are founded on the two same principles- avoid processed food and eat variety. Cutting anything out of your diet entirely is likely to lead to some nutrient deficiency or another, just like eating too much of any one food is likely to cause a biochemical imbalance.

In reading the article, it’s not clear that her diet killed her. Her friends think that but according to her mother — “Samsonova’s mother attributed her daughter’s passing to a “cholera-like infection”. The article says the autopsy results aren’t back so it’s not clear what she actually died of. If I were to hazard a guess, her diet was obviously lacking in some nutrients and that could have made her vulnerable to the infection her mother described. Who knows.

Humans. Are. Not. Vegans (but they can eat a carnivore diet or a vegan diet)

sure, this doctor is on the Carnivore diet

    https://www.youtube.com/@KenDBerryMD

    "find healthcare providers
    carnivore-friendly doctors and providers"

    https://carnivore.diet/find-healthcare-providers/

Are you thinking about going Carnivore?

Unless I develop a fetish for wanting colon cancer, gout, or dying from heart disease, no, I'm not thinking of going carnivore. Vegan would be far, far healthier, but I'm not doing that either.

You. We've covered this. The so-called "carnivore diet" is NOT safe for humans. It's difficult to make a vegan diet safe, but far not impossible . . . unlike with the carnivore diet.

sure, you keep believing that, I really do not care what diet you eat - I am giving my opinion, you are giving yours

the biggest thing I think people need to do though is cut down on excessive carbs and seed oils

seems to upset you, you seem to want to scare people away from carnivore, but many have been carnivore for years and are thriving

I prefer a keto diet, but I can see that people are thriving on a carnivore diet as well

Keep telling yourself that. Good luck. I encourage you to stop promoting a diet that increases the risk of heart disease, malnutrition, and colon cancer. But I can see those facts will never get through to you.

thanks, Good luck to you as well. and I also encourage you to stop promoting a diet that increases the risk of heart disease, malnutrition, cancer and other metabolic diseases and scaring people away from a diet that could help some people. But I can see those facts will never get through to you.

You are describing the "diet" that YOU are promoting. All I'm saying is that you should eat more than meat. Every scientifically literal person agrees.
