The purpose of the op is not to debate whether there is a God or not, as I’m sure that’s been debated ad nauseam elsewhere, but what happens when enough silly people as in the image above start to change society. In the society they wish for, they were the first into the mass graves.

Dude - you need to study how Christianity was spread in the New World ... most often by sword and kidnapping.
You need to read about the Papal Wars, and how Christianity was spread in Northern Europe. You need to read about
Savonarola and how many great works of art were destroyed by Christians at the end of the Renaissance.

Christianity was spread as much by conquering armies as any other religion.

It's been my observation that there are no true atheists, since belief that there is no god is in fact a belief with no evidence resting on faith. No one enters the world doubting every single thing until they have proven it to themselves via the scientific method. Instead, the people who label themselves atheists reject traditional religions; for many different reasons. They all have various forms of flaws of course that can turn people away from them. So I get that. But traditional religions do provide a morality and code of conduct, which is necessary for societies to function. People don't seem to be able to make up their own little moralities on their own, they pick it up from the culture, and in the case of the West, that's Christian. Sorry Xtian haters

You need to study the American Civil War. That was not fought by atheists.
You need to study the Papal Wars. They were not fought by atheists.
You need to study the wars of Napoleon, he and France were not atheists.
You need to study the Wars between Germany, Italy, France and England in the 1200s, 1300s, 1400s, 1500s,
1600s, 1700s, 1800s ... NOT fought by atheists.
You need to study the Spanish-American Wars - not fought by atheists.
You need to study The American Revolution. NOT fought by atheists.

Well I arrived here at post #25, so I am already too late. It does not take agnostics and atheists long to take care of this line of bullcrap. Its like ants pulling apart a butterfly. They each grab a wing, antenna and leg and pull! This Op will be toast before I even read the posts.

 

Americans and the Christian Europe have been involved in SO MANY Wars over the Centuries - it's really hard to claim that religion has
been a great contributor towards peace. Islam is no better. Buddhism might have the best claim to being peaceful. But in the end, there
is no real evidence that religion or non-religion has made things much better.

One of the bloodiest wars on record was the American Civil War - fought between Christians.

If there is any group that might claim to be more peaceful, it would be the Agnostics - they don't care enough to go to war over religions - or lack there-of.

Hitler was a strong charismatic leader who the whole country of Germany willingly put into leadership of their country.

Suggesting that Germany was composed of stupid people is just plain SILLY. We know Germany is NOT composed of stupid people. In fact, they are a strong part of the EU economic engine that places the EU ahead of China, economically, plus they are a strong democracy with a commitment to civil rights.
