That fear is/could be that China will one day outnumber or occupy actual Russians living in Siberia, or everything East of the Urals that is.....what will be left of the once "russian federation" will be west of the Urals.

The other scenario could be the Caucauses where Arabic may replace Russian....:)).

Keep thinking NATO will be your undoing while China slowly occupies your Siberia and will cut Russia in half.

    Oh, my...
Ethnic cleansing? What difference does it make if they live a primitive lifestyle? Why would you want to consider removing them from their lands?

Yes, after being attacked by that country
    The moral of that story?
If you attack us, or we attack you... the result will likely be nuclear
And both countries already have sufficient weapons to destroy eachother
Even before the new weapons you have identified

No, by every definition of the term, it’s an aircraft carrier. It carries, launches, and recovers fixed wing military fighter aircraft. That makes it an aircraft carrier.

The Chinese aircraft carriers are basically an exact copy of the Kuznetsov and they call them “aircraft carriers”. The only reason the Russian call it a “cruiser” is because of the Montreax Agreement.

The document is in English and plainly says the Russian Empire gave up any sovereignty over Alaska. That is purchase.

But feel free to try and reclaim it. We’ll gladly kill a few million Russians over it.

I already demonstrated that we have more than enough warheads to accomplish that mission several times over.

That was funny. :roflol::roflol::roflol:The Chinese do not go to live in Russia. They are cold. But they are happy to go to the south. To Australia, New Zealand ... to Africa. Even in China, half of the territory is not inhabited. If you come even to Khabarovsk, it will be difficult to find a Chinese.

No one removes them. But if they do not like being part of Russia, there are plenty of ways not to get Russian citizenship. Besides, why do not you like reservations for example? This is a sign of democracy. Do you think that the United States is a democratic country. Is not it?

It's true. But not the Russians are expanding their military bloc. Non-Russians withdraw from the ABM Treaty unilaterally. No Russians want to quit the INF Treaty unilaterally. No Russians want to refuse to extend the START 3 treaty ... and so on. But the US is doing this.

Of course the Russians will return Alaska. And Northern California. And New York. All this will certainly become part of Russia. I think this is obvious to everyone who has a brain.

And America will turn Russia into a radioactive death zone before we allow that. But you are welcome to try.

    Please comrades, calm down!
There will NOT be a nuclear war. At least between Russia and the U.S.

Don't you get it? It's just what Mr. Allah wants - Russia and America, two basically Christian countries, destroy each other in a nuclear Holocaust, then when the dust settles down, he moves in and takes over.
But it's not to be cause he is exposed.

Otoh, russians seem to have a fondness for invading neighboring countries that have significant russian populations... Ukraine is just one example

That said, i disagree with the expansion of nato and eu

And would also point out that our current president seems to be distancing himself from nato and the eu... and therefore not thinking of them as part of “us”. If you want to attack someone... start with. ” them”
Yes i agree with you!!!!!! 100%
I think our current president is an idiot
Given the mutual affection between putin and trump... i thought that perhaps putin suggested such policies to trump so that he would have an excuse to do the same. But I certainly do not know whAt goes on in the minds of putin and trump

Why would you assume I like Reservations or would want them? I am an individual and not a chosen representative of my country's attitudes towards the Native people. Neither do I believe you are a chosen representative to speak for Russians. A reservation is a thing forced on people, therefore it's in no way a sign of democracy. To even suggest that people who have always lived on the land should take citizenship or leave is a tyranny.

I see nothing honorable, noble, or justifiable in herding native people off their lands an onto reservations, but they are there now, and should be given the autonomy to make their own rules and laws--separate from any state. The suggestion that native people should go elsewhere if they don't want Russian or American citizenship is ethically and morally repugnant.

It's all good. I don't think anyone here has the power or authority to launch a nuclear strike. The discussion here is what you might call testicle-talk.

For example. On the coast of the Baltic Sea there lives a people called Latvians. Let's explore this "civilized" folk in more detail.
According to enceclopedia. "Under the term Livonia, in the Middle Ages, all three regions lying along the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea were understood, that is, present-day Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Livonia was inhabited by 4 peoples: Livonians, estas (Finnish tribe), Latgala and Latvians (Lithuanian tribes). Until the 13 century, one could not talk about any general political organization of Livonia. Some tribes lived in it completely independently, their cultural level was low. Their religion was to worship natural phenomena. They have the god of thunder — Perkun dedicated to Old, centuries-old oaks. Sacrifices were customary; the horse was considered the most noble sacrifice. In war, the inhabitants showed great ferocity and mercilessly quartered their prisoners ... "
The remark about the ruthless quartering of prisoners makes us recall the school course of the history of the Ancient World (5th grade). Remember, our teachers told us that originally the ancient Egyptians did not know what to do with the prisoners (it was expensive to feed them) and therefore the prisoners were killed. And only then came up with their use as a free labor. They were even called talking cattle. Thus arose the slave system and civilization began. In all it turns out that in the XIII century people lived in the center of Europe, which by the level of wildness was still in the fifth millennium BC.
For comparison, by that time, "the Tale of Bygone Years" and "the Talk of Igor's" Regiment had already been written in “barbaric” Russia, that is, an independent Russian (non-Greek) literary tradition already existed. I'm not even talking about stone temples, developed crafts, about lot hundred years of statehood.
Actually, the historical stage of development of these lands is not connected with the Latvians, but with the Germans colonizing them. From about the middle of the 12th century, traders, soldiers and missionaries began to arrive here from Germany. Gradually, the German crusaders conquered the Livs and in 1201 founded Riga as the capital of the archbishop and a springboard for the conquest of new lands.
To understand the level of the cultural gap between Russians and Germans on the one hand, and Latvians on the other, you need to look at when a national translation of the Bible appeared in one or another nation. The first translation of the Bible into the Old Slavonic language was carried out by monks Cyril and Methodius in about the 860s, that is, in the 9th century. The first translations of the Bible into German were made about the same time (into Gothic even earlier - in the 6th century).
Now attention! Latvians received a Bible translated into Latvian only in 1694. For these purposes, the Germans invented for Latvians writing based on German grammar. This was done by people bearing the following surnames (so that there would be no questions later) —Regegausen (1644) and Adolfi (1685). Finally, the Latvian alphabet was created by G. F. The pillar in the middle of the 18th century.
Then comes the general comedy. The first textbook of the Latvian language was published in Riga in Russian in 1868! Thus, the efforts of the two peoples - first of all German and secondly Russian - Latvians received writing. The Latvians themselves did nothing for this.
Latvians received writing just fifty years earlier than the Chukchi! Comrade Stalin presented it to the Chukchi at the beginning of the 1930s.
In terms of civilization, the Baltic peoples are on the same level with the wild tribes of Africa or the savages of the Amazon.

Military nuclear conflict is inevitable. And the cause of this conflict is not Alaska or California. At the heart of the conflict is the US economy. The economy is on the verge of collapse. And the only way for US oligarchs to save their money and political influence is through war. And the consequences of this war - Alaska and other states will become part of Russia. Again. This is only a consequence. Not the reason.
