You said it was my right to have healthcare.
You said nothing about your right to make me pay for you

Oh.... so you actually believed that the word "human" in "human rights" meant only you?

Yeah... that will be a funny joke to tell my barber tomorrow.

The point is that if I have a right to have my health cared for then you have a corresponding obligation to care for my health.

Actually there's a logical flaw in your argument. We know that there are a list of public and merit goods. The positive externalities created are substantial, ensuring gains for us all. This ensures an economic rationale for subsidisation. Right wingers refusing subsidisation are therefore demanding underprovision. They are then essentially pretending to use liberty, given ultimately underprovision is itself a coerced inefficiency that destroys economic well-being.

The second point follows from the first. Totally logical. If I have a right, others are obliged to comply with that right. That's what a right means. Therefore, if I have a right to have my health cared for, then everyone else (including yourself) has an obligation to care for my health. That's how rights work.

Who provides healthcare? Healthcare providers! Who else?

What kind of nonsense is this conversation trying to get to?

Those who espouse the idea of positive rights know that none of their positive rights can be enforced without violating negative rights, which are really the only viable kind of right there is. No real right can require the violation of other rights.

What nonsense! What right works that way? So if I have a right to private property, you have the obligation to provide me with private property?

Look If you have a serious point to make, make it already. This nonsense has taken way more time than it deserves.

Compensation for capitalism's natural rate of unemployment could solve for most of our capital problems in modern times.

You don't have a right to private property. You have a right to not have your private property violated. Nobody owed you private property. They are simply obliged not to mess with your property.

I thought I made my point. Positive rights cannot be enforced without violating negative rights. The only legitimate rights are negative rights.

Speaking of nonsense, you do not have the right to private property.

BTW, You just argued against me being obligated to provide you with healthcare
