Mostly democrats and liberal pundits are offering up excuses for why Harris lost. The sad ones are those who are saying "sexist" and "racist". These are people who can't communicate logical thoughts. They run only on emotions.
Some democrats' excuse pinpoints her appearance on the talk show The View, when she was asked what she would have done differently from Biden during the past four years, and she replied: “There is not a thing that comes to mind.”
Some thought that reply put her on the side of an unpopular president. But I say it exposed Harris' low intelligence and lack of knowledge of Biden's policies. Therefore, she was mentally incapable to discuss current policies. That was Harris in a nutshell and many people saw just how shallow she was. A total empty pantsuit.

The media isn't giving excuses. They are called opinions on why he won.

Here's mine, his campaign did a fantastic job getting the Latino and Black males to outperform their support for him from 4 years ago. Kamala underperformed practically every single county that Ole Joe had in 2020.

Lastly, there was no pandemic to allow millions more voters to vote by mail. The total number of votes cast will be far less than the total number of votes cast from 2020, which is the perfect recipe for Republicans.

    It's not rocket science. Lol

I don't have excuses. She lost. Trump had the upper hand on economics among the general populace . . . who (like Trump) doesn't understand the basics of economics, and that's basically all that was required. I'm glad that the Dems are going to "Well, what do we do differently next time" rather than following Trump's "WAAAAAAH! It was stooooolen! Let's steal it baaaack" playbook.

We all know the real reason - $$$$$$$

Its pathetic for them to say it has anything to do with race when Obama won twice in a country with 70% whites

Logic has nothing to do with it, the whole MAGA movement is based on the strange emotional attachment of people to a con man, because they made themselves believe in the empty rhetoric that only he can make their lives better. Many books will be written about this psychological phenomenon in the future.

As to why the Dems lost:
    1) Biden shouldn't have run again.
    2) He dropped out way too late for anyone other than Harris to make a serious run.
    3) Biden had a 41% approval rating, that's a boat anchor around Harris' neck.
    4) Voters wear rose colored glasses for the past. They somehow remember $2 gas from the Trump presidency, but not the bad stuff (+1 million covid deaths etc.).
    5) Voters HATE inflation and blame Harris for it. Somehow, Trump, despite his inflationary covid stimuli, gets no blame for inflation, or the covid recession.
    6) Voters wanted change. They feel that things are not working (despite inflation being back to normal and the economy being decent). Even though Trump was president before, he was the "change" candidate.
    7) Many voters LOVE Trump's campaign against the "others", i.e. immigrants etc. Even the ones who don't want mass deportations want immigration fixed. Somehow, Trump torpedoing the bipartisan immigration bill didn't hurt him, God only knows why.

Democrats have an opportunity to completely rebuild themselves and present an agenda to the Working and Middle Class that puts them in a compelling position to once again compete with the GOP message of Hope, Peace, Prosperity, and Safety.

'24 Lesson: Working Class & Middle America Run the Country

Trump’s win is a victory for Americans who feel abandoned by the coastal elites and a Democratic Party that moved too far from mainstream America.

As a Republican, I can enjoy this.
As an American, I know that we are best served by two or more parties competing hard to serve us.

    upload_2024-11-6_10-23-22.png

I dearly hope that Trump fulfills his promise to allow RFK to work in improving American Health and to lesson America's burden of debilitating disease.

I hope he follows through on his commitment to have Musk audit the Federal Government, and that Musk follows through on his commitment to bring Ron Paul on board to audit the Fed.

Harris lost for a lot of reasons, but when an Administration spends as wildly as they did, in the absence of deflationary pulse, and then robs Americans of 20% of their spending power, our response must be to roll them out, and this is a warning for Trump as well.

I'm so glad the American people didn't promote Kamala to the highest and most important office in our country. And so the American people have spoken, we have rejected giving Kamala a promotion because she and uncle joe have done a terrible lousy job for the past nearly 4 years they've been in charge.

I think the fact that they let at least 8 million illegals enter this nation in 4 years had a lot to do with it.

But of course Democrats will blame it on racism and sexism and not actually take a good hard look inside and figure out that if such a terrible man won it should tell them a lot about who they chose to promote

The voters didn't like her in 2020 when she ran a brief primary campaign for President.

After 4 years as VP, they didn't like her much in 2024 either. The Democrats should have held a primary.

You simultaneously admit over and over again you can’t understand XYZ yet think you understand the basics upon which your lack of understanding is based on.

When you can’t figure out why the American people voted in a completely perplexing way to you, it’s time to stop speaking the typical Democrat spiel and actually start listening for a change. And that goes for the entire rest of your Party.

The dems took a bad product (let's compare it to food for simplicity), dressed it up with a slick, expensive sales and marketing outreach, high production value commercials spammed day and night, celebrity endorsements, and intensive online campaigns, but forgot the fundamental problem that the food itself tastes like bovine excrement.

The most obvious low-hanging fruit in assessing blame is the notion that Biden should have announced in Late-2023 that he wasn't running for re-election.
Thus, giving everybody who could reasonably be expected to run (Harris, Whitmer, Newsom, Etc.) an equal shot in an open primary process.
Ultimately however, the Dems were destined to lose in 2024 (regardless of the candidate)...

The left has plenty of excuses, none of them valid. No self reflection lmao. The left have an emotional attachment to their tribe, it stops them from properly identifying problems and therefore solutions.

But hey, that cost them the single greatest cultural victory in everyone's entire lives.

    Maga won.

She would have been a continuation of Biden’s failed policies. She did little to try to distinguish herself from Biden. I did not find some of her policies as realistic, such as bringing down home prices. Politicians have a bad habit of making promises about things they have little to no control over. Heck, housing prices have increased during her Vice Presidency. I did not find her “when they go low we go high” act believable. She seemed much closer to the far left than Biden ever was… so on and so forth…

The dems need to question the dem powerbrokers who put Kamala on the ticket with Biden.
The dems need to question the dem powerbrokers who put Kamala on the presidential ticket.
The dems need to question the dem powerbrokers who put Walz on the ticket with Kamala.
The dems need to question the dem powerbrokers on all the dem platform positions.
Kamala, Kamala, Kamala, heck when she entered the dem primary she was one of the first to drop out.
Unpopular, unpopular, unpopular, and there were plenty of reasons.

this only reveals unwillingness to understand. If their beliefs are different from yours, they must not be using logic, right? They must not see reality or even know what they’re looking at, right?

I disagree with much of their politics, but I understand why others support them and it’s not because they are incapable of logic. They just have different opinions.

Hey, I am not claiming MAGA bases their decision on logic, that was the poster I replied to. Who then also extrapolated that it is Harris voters who are not voting based on logic, but rather on emotion. Now tell me, if you were voting based on logic, would you vote for a convicted felon?

Of course, it is always fashionable these days to claim: My side is the logical one, the other side votes on pure emotion. The reality is: EVERYONE votes on pure emotion. That's why propaganda works so well. For example, it has convinced people that climate change is a hoax, that burning non-renewable fossil fuels at an ever increasing rate, despite more than half of reserves already being used up, is a good thing. Now, if someone would vote based on science, you could claim that they vote based on logic. But who cares about sience these days? Definitely not the Trump party. For them, science is a dirty word.

I got to see her trying to rally her people shouting over and over, "let's go out and vote" followed by the statement, "let's go out and wiiiiiin! Cackle cackle". She sounded like a 6 year old trying to show her babysitter how to do a cheer.

Joe Rogan's podcast with Trump got some 90 million views. Rogan is not an attack interviewer. He just talks with people. She ducked him. She thought even that reasonably low key conversation was beyond her. 90 million times SHE did not get to talk to people, mostly men that do not trust her, and convince them of what she might have brought that was positive to their lives.

This has been a miserable 4 year imposed upon the American people through an apparent stolen election in 2020. Many of us have groaned, "we didn't ask for this!!!!" Any Democrat would have had a hard time with that record.

But the single thing that might have saved this for them?

Biden should have stepped down in 2023. It would be awkward but the grand poobahs would have to tell Kamala NOT to run in the primary. Have a legit primary and pick someone that can credibly call themselves a "fresh" new face to take the country in a new direction: NOT be a continuation of the disastrous Biden debacle.

Once they win the primary? Remember: "It's the economy stupid".

One of the excuses Democrats are employing is, "it's Joe Biden's fault". He isn't the selfless statesman he was a few months ago.
