Why hasn't the left gone all frothing mad about the School Shooting in Perry Iowa?

Social media was never pro left. It just happens about 65-70% of the world is left, when compared to MAGA.

And they are private companies trying to turn a profit. And like all businesses, cater to their target consumers.

Simple solution, move.. No matter how much people stomp and whine their will always be guns and mass murder and murder in the U.S. Even under the penalty of death the mass murderer will reach for the brass ring and the 10 min of fame.. There is no way to keep contraband out of the U.S. when you have a party of contradiction that supports and defends open borders on one hand and cries about GUN CONTROL on the other.

    Stupidity rules this subject..

We have a party that thinks they can protect 5.6% of the sexually challenged from 94.4% of the population that doesn't see it their way.. And when they blow a fuse and mass kill the left protects and covers for them while chanting mental evals to own a firearm..

    Ridiculous;)

    -Multiple assailants.
-One assailant with enough adrenaline or narcotics to ignore being shot.
-A small caliber weapon failing to stop a large, determined or armored assailant.
    -First shot misses.
-Wild animal attacks, such as bears.

Why do you suppose police carry semi-auto (and sometimes full-auto) rifles in their vehicles, along with shotguns? Do you suppose its because they expect a foreign military might invade while they're writing a speeding ticket?

Which industrialized nations? We had more gun deaths than many other industrialized nations before those nations had any gun control at all. Most of the nations that have strict gun control now did so because there weren't enough gun owners to voice any meaningful protest, not because they had any meaningful amount of gun crime. And they didn't have many gun owners because they didn't have a lot of violent crime. The simple fact is that the US has more violent criminals than most other industrialized nations (or, at least, we did before they all started importing immigrants from the third world, now there are growing movements all over Europe to relax gun restrictions as violent crime rates keep climbing...). You can't fix cultural issues with more laws. That has never worked in all of the history of government, and its not going to start working now.

Tell me, do you consider our 'war on drugs' to be a success story?

So you don't want to take measures that the violence that occurs is reduced as much as possible. Got it.

I'm not side stepping the issue at all. You're the one ignoring the fact that guns are not the cause of violence. I'm the one advocating that we focus on what causes violence and work towards fixing those things. You just want to focus on an object....while also ignoring part of the stats and the causes of violence.

I readily admit, that if you get rid of something, then the negative aspects that come about due to that something will no longer apply.

Get rid of guns? No more "gun violence".
Get rid of cars? No more "car violence".
Get rid of bats? No more "bat violence".
Get rid of knives? No more "knife violence".

But guess, what...no matter which of the above objects you get rid of, or even if you get rid of all of them... doing so will NOT stop or reduce the violence.

You want to know some of the reasons European countries have less violence? It isn't because they banned guns. Its because they have a more effective police force. Its because they address mental health issues. Its because they have a better education system. And there's nothing secret about that.

So you finally admit that gun control WORKS.

    We shouldn't have to move.

Moving still doesn't answer the question, why is there a place I can move to that doesn't have this problem?

Again, I'm NOT suggesting we can get rid of violence.

I am asking why are there places that don't have the problem with guns that we have. What are they doing (or not doing) that is different? Why can't we implement those policies?

I can answer that last question. We can't implement the policies because, politically, a major US political party is more interested in pandering to a base than in reducing gun deaths.

Why are there places with massive numbers of firearms you can move to that don’t have this problem?

    That is my point.

All the other industrialized nations that do not have this problem don't have the problem because they don't have the massive number of firearms that we do in this country.

I hear ya, but folks do it all the time to realize their dreams..

Not real sure there are such places, although I hear Australia is pretty mass shooting free, might consider there.. Be warned, it not as easy to enter Australia as our resident Australian nationals here on PF suggest we handle our southern boarder..

It's a bit selective, sort of like an old Germany approach to selective "master race" qualifications type application. But if you have what it takes and get the golden ticket you will be nicely compensated and welcomed with open arms..

What's to loose? No guns, no mass shooting, guaranteed employment, hardly any racial violence it's a win-win..

So if you fit the qualifications
    You're in like flint..

As long as it doesn't infringe on my rights as a LONG time law abiding U.S. citizen, then let's here your plan.. But be warned, if you try and ball me in with Ghetto garbage, dope slingers and their corner salesmen/look-outs and confused, sexually fustrated and mentally ill, then where gonna have issues..

I want to be rewarded and respected for my lifetime of good citizenship..

Then you are balled in with Ghetto garbage, dope slingers and their corner salesmen/look-outs and confused, sexually fustrated and mentally ill. Too bad.

I’m talking about this country. More kids have died from eating granola bars at school in my state than have died in school shootings.

Many school kids own their own firearms and are skilled in their use.

If you really want to place blame on the gun ills of the U.S. then blame the Engish and their addiction to facism and slavery.. If not for France and their firearms contibution we'd be sipping tea and whining about.

Well now I certainly understand your dislikes of firearms, and maybe a little envious of us that can legally own them ;)

I already answered the question as to what they are doing different. You're not listening. You literally cannot see the forest for the trees on this topic. You're too focused on guns and won't consider anything else.
