Here's one difference that I've noted just on this one forum: while righties and Trump supporters are quick to vilify "all liberals" as this or that evil, often specifying something quite despicable, I rarely see a post vilifying the right in like manner. Complaints of intractability, laments of being unable to break through the bubble, hints of a lack of knowledge, and so forth, but only the right accuses others of hating America and trying to destroy it. In addition to the nastiness of the false narratives, there is an arrogance to their surety that they alone have it right, and by "it" I mean every little ideological difference.

That aid was not his to withhold, that's our money, mine and yours, and the process of vetting the recipient is within the purview of the DOJ, something they had already done.

Congress approved the package, the DOJ approved the recipient of the package. Trump may have the right to hold it up, but for his own benefit? Sorry, no, that's extortion. It's just the sort of action the founders anticipated, and why they included impeachment in the Constitution.
