Saying "Russia-Trump" for three years didn't make that true.

The bolded is a lament not directed at any one person or group on particular. It's. A. Joke.

It seems that "trolling" means "posting things I don't like" these days.

Ah. Well, you could always stop voting. Or go live off the grid or whatever. Or just let apathy take over. But if you want the government to leave you alone, voting could actually help. Civic engagement could actually help. Getting involved could actually help. You're here, discussing issues, and that could help.

Or perhaps I just don't understand your meaning, in which case you could be a little less cryptic and clarify.

Why should other people NOT leave their neighbor alone? What's with this lust to dominate one's fellow man. I simply don't get it.

Voting or not voting is the same thing, I haven't voted since Bush Jr in 2000 when I realized what a kangaroo court that was with Powell at the UN..

I might just vote this time and register as a Democrat and vote for Tulsi

Do not confuse Trump's supporters with conservatives. They are not true conservatives.

Do not confuse Trump's supporters with Republicans. Trump Republicans are not true Republicans. To the GOP's regret Trump Republicans are now dominating their party. The GOP will pay a heavy price for that in 2020. It has already started with the elections in 2018 and 2019. Trump is leading the GOP into the abyss, and Republicans in Congress don't have the sense to see it.

BTW, I am a card-carrying Republican. In CA we have to identify our party affiliation. I will be changing it to Independent.

If I was a liberal, I would probably claim I was "Republican", too.

Let's say that two guys voted to go kill someone. I don't get the whole "voting" thing and why it garners any legitimacy.

I don't see why some people could "vote" that I have to spin around three times every morning.

Liberals tend to be the first to anger and insult when losing a debate, when they brand you a "racist" you have officially won, game over.

Then why be upset that he withheld it? You don't know what it's for, you really don't know how it's actually being used, but God forbid it's used as leverage to get something the American people do want?

You're begging the question. He didn't ask for a fabricated smear, he didn't get one either.

Doesn't matter what I think, what you think, or even what his level of concern was. It's not illegal, or even morally wrong for him to ask about it.

We elect the president, not the state department. I don't care what they think is important. I elect people to do things that I think are important. I reelect them when they attempt to do them. Trump is their boss, not the other way around.

This is one of those that right wingers like to pretend. And it may have more to do with projection than reality. ‘Cause, you see, they have done studies on such things. They place sensors all over a person’s head and from these it is possible to determine which parts of a subject’s brain is firing the most. It turns out that using this method, researchers can predict, with about 80% accuracy a subject’s political leanings. Most of the inaccuracy is in the independent middle, and not at the ends.

From this method it has been determined that the more conservative one is, the more likely one’s emotional center is to light up, especially when processing new information. This does not happen in strong liberals. Rather new information tends to first get processed in the cerebral part of the brain. It is why liberals tend to pick up new ideas with greater ease than conservatives. Also why a liberal will abandon a bad idea, while a conservative will hang onto an idea, long after it had been proven defective.

That is to say, study after scientific study has shown, that when confronted with new information, conservatives tend to be more like Dr. McCoy while liberals tend to be more like Spock.

Notice that in the OP or here, I am making no emotional argument. Just presenting the situation as I find it. Just trying to understand why people believe things that can’t been proven.
