Will you support Trump if he is convicted of a crime?

There are several threads in which Trump supporters defend him because "he has not been convicted of any crime". The demands that we DEMONSTRATE that he has been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law are copious.

So here is my question, if he IS proven guilty in a criminal court of law, and sentence by a jury of his peers, will you then not support him anymore?

Because if you will still support him, what difference would it make whether he's convicted or not?

Conviction or not, how does that change his policies? We on the right vote for policies, not personalities, identity, gender, race, religion, hatred, or any of that stuff. You should try it some time.

You mean you actually think he will get an open and fair trial? If we support him, he probably won't be a criminal anyway. He will just pardon himself.

He should also pardon Biden of the same crimes he pardoned himself for though. I think that would be fair. A clean slate.

Your question has already been answered in polls. The real question is, "How many seek to sabotage our system of government?" It is hard to imagine so many people would be willing to elect a criminal to fill our highest office.

It doesn't. He never had any policies. He had handlers that had policies like Bannon and Miller. Fine upstanding citizens, both.
In other words, you vote for a personality.

And if Biden is impeached? Just impeached by the House - not convicted by Senate, just impeached, Biden committed his crimes using his position as an elected official - if he is impeached how will you vote?
Get back to us when you have an actual conviction.

I don't support trump either way. I do understand why people would choose a convicted felon over the Dems.

Thus far the judicial system has given him great deference. Anyone else would have been found in contempt half a dozen times.

It's weird that I started a thread on another board about the same subject. Crazy, right?

"Particularly troubling": Ex-US attorney alarmed over Judge Cannon's "oddly scheduled" docs meeting

The timing of Judge Aileen Cannon's Wednesday closed-door meeting with special counsel Jack Smith raises a red flag in Donald Trump's Florida classified documents case, signaling the Trump's appointee's potential bias toward the former president, ex-federal prosecutor Joyce Vance argues. The meeting — which Trump and his legal team were prohibited from attending — to discuss which classified materials will be shared with the defense is a standard procedure for such cases. But it being "oddly scheduled" indicates Cannon is delaying the case's pretrial procedures, Vance said.

“One of the biggest objections to Judge Cannon’s handling of the case has been the exceptional amount of delay she has indulged Trump with in what should have been a fairly straightforward case,” the former U.S. attorney wrote in the Monday edition of her Substack newsletter, pointing to the case's Classified Information Procedures Act proceedings. Section 4 of the act allows Smith to argue for the exclusion of classified information from the case or its replacement with unclassified summaries, but requires the special counsel to first get permission from Cannon. "I anticipated a CIPA ruling ahead of the holidays. … But here we are at the end of January, with the hearing itself still weeks away," Vance writes.

More evidence Cannon is in the tank for Don. A fair trial in her court? Not Likely.

I don't regard any of the charges against him as legitimate. They are all politically motivated.

In atlanta Assumming that one ever happens. Or NYC or DC all of which are Democrat by overwhelming majorities. I expect he will be convicted and them overturned on appeal.

Trump supporters already know who he is. If they had a problem with him, it would have been apparent long before now. I don't think a conviction is going to change anything.

And how many lefties would refuse to vote for Biden if his impeachmen brings out numerous deals where he placed his family's finances ahead of he duties as a Senator, Vice President and President? Will it change your vote?

Won't change my vote because I did not nor would ever vote for Biden in the first place. I assume there are plenty of partisans on the left though who would disregard it just like Trump supporters have disregarded all the negative things about Trump.

I give trump one thing, the control he has over his base is impressive. Everyone in the nation thought he was joking when he said he could shoot someone in Times Square, and not lose a single supporter, now we simply know that he was aware of what type of individual supports him.

When you accept a pardon you are admitting guilt; as Joe Arpaio.
There, so far, no real evidence of President Biden committing a crime.
