They both mishandled documents. Both said they turned in everything only to find more later.

IF, President Biden is impeached (which he won't be) and, convicted (which won't be necessary, I would expect President Biden to do the right thing and drop out of the race. But "IF", I wouldn't be able to vote for him. As you shouldn't be able to vote for trump.

I will reveiw the evidence in an fair and open trial and determine if it would be better for our country or not. Being convicted of Jay walking doesn't mean they would be a bad president. So it really depends on what is revealed and what it means for how it will affect the USA. It mainly comes down to what is better for my kids future. He is being hired to do a job and the only question is will he do the job and do it better than Biden. The answer is likely yes.

The crimes were politically motivated, not the grand jury indictments. Speaking of the grand juries, are they part of the deep state conspiracy to get Don?

You've changed the argument. :eyepopping: So I assume that you concede that if trump were able to and did pardon himself that would be an admission of guilt.

But, playing along like I didn't notice your misdirection; there's a big difference between the way trump handled the documents he purposely stole from the U.S. And the ones President Biden's staff found amongst his personal possessions.

Trump lied to the NARA about the documents, withheld documents when asked for them and did so on an ongoing basis ... TO THE POINT ... NARA had to call the FBI to get them back for them. Only to find out that trump had move some from Mara Lardass to his Bedwetter golf course.

Whereas President Biden's staff immediately called NARA to recover the documents, as they should have and, because the recognized they weren't qualified to even handle them. AND, they did the same thing when more documents were found in another location.

IF trump had said "OOPS" and given ALL the documents back when first ... or second .... or sometime before NARA asked the FBI for help; he would never have been charged with anything.

There is a possibility. I base my opinions on the evidence, not the opinions of a random group of people even if they are given the special title of Jury.

Exit polling in IO and NH suggest otherwise. I believe the numbers were 31% and 47% respectively of caucus/primary voters saying a conviction would be a disqualifying event for Don to get their vote.

You assume bad intent. The evidence shows a continuous effort to sort through the boxes to find and return confidential information.

He will likely be convicted of mishandling the documents but the obstruction charge is going to be a tough one Biden's DOJ to pin on his political opposition.

So when I do, what is the answer?

This thread is about criminal trial, not impeachment or civil trials.

Then don't bother. This thread is for those who would vote for Trump. If you're not going to vote for either of them, your vote doesn't count.

Oh sure. If I don't think he's guilty of an actual crime, why would conviction change my opinion?

Not according to the JD indictments.
The only thing remotely tough, for the Special Prosecutor, is Aileen Cannon is the judge and she's all in for trump.
It's the United State's DOJ. <-period. To suggest otherwise is plain horseshit. :wtf:

Yeah. This is a question we should be asking everywhere. Which board was that?

Conspiracy implies its a hidden cabal pushing levers. These charges have all been out in the open.

Which is, finally, the truth of the matter. All the whining about "he hasn't been convicted" is BULLSHIT. Trump's sycophants will vote for him ... NO MATTER WHAT.
