Now Trump has his own personal Vietnam?!! It took us 10 years to reach 58,000 dead in Vietnam?!! Trump did it in just six weeks and it's not over yet!

What took nine years of jungle warfare in Vietnam, Trump and his utterly failed pandemic leadership has overseen in just six weeks time. Yet rather than conceding his failures and acknowledging his shame the way Johnson did in a self-less attempt to heal the nation, Trump has spent recent days suggesting people ingest Lysol or Clorox in order to cure themselves of Covid-19. (He later insisted, not believably, that he was joking about the deadly advice.)

Nearly 58,000 are dead, the American economy has collapsed, food lines are growing, and the unemployment rate could hit 20 percent this year. In a sense, this is Trump's Vietnam and Trump's Great Depression.

I'm a healthcare practitioner and blaming this on Trump is about as stupid as blaming Obama for the 20,000 deaths from H1N1.

If you want to get political the most liberal state in the country, NY, has the most deaths. Maybe I should say liberals are stupid for not practicing social distancing even though they knew how deadly the virus is. But I won't because the virus is highly contagious and doesn't care about your precautions. Humans screw up and the virus will find a way to infect you.

 

There was no false flag event like LBJ’s Gulf of Tonkin Incident, nor any executive order to invade Wuhan with 180,000 combat soldiers .. so.. um...

 

Vietnam was a war in which mostly young men died. This is a pandemic caused by a virus which mainly kills the elderly and those with poor health.

Why compare the two?

But there was no way President Trump was going to miss his opportunity to communicate his own alternative reality of how well he has handled and managed the response to coronavirus. He loves the spotlight. Even when it is under the worst possible circumstances. He can't seem to help himself. How else would he blame everyone else?
